You’ll first get a notice of approval letter in the mail, then not long after that you’ll get that update with the tracking number. Mine took a week from the time I got the approval that card is being made to having the combo card in the mail.

Okay. Sounds good.  Just like @jakejon mentioned, I would assume I’m getting the combo card even though the status hasn’t changed on the app.

Yes, you’ll be getting the combo card. It’s a work authorization card but at the bottom it would say serves as Advance parole.

Are you sure you have input the National Benefits Centre in the second drop down box?

 

EADs and APs are processed at other service centres but not for the K1 so you can only check processing times for I765 and I131 at the NBC AND ensure you are checking applications for I765 are based on C9 category at the bottom of the time line page.

 

Double check and report back to clear up the confusion please.
