An RFIE or RFE will pause the whole process but not reset.

So what do u think happen to my case, because i already did service request and they responced it to me already?

To be clear, this is what irked me. After it was explained in the thread the process of when a service enquiry could be made, I took this response to those posts as a lack of sympathy for others, bragging and an attempt to have others celebrate for essentially attempting to butt in line.

That was insensitive, so why should anyone else be sensitive back?

Anyhow, I'm done with it. Thank you @Hemzifor explaining why ppl could be upset.

This is a stressful situation for everyone and it happens that you see August filers mad at September filers for getting approved, September filers mad with October filers for getting approved and goes on. I insist telling everyone that this is not a fair process that can be explained. I am waiting for my interview in Detroit  a person that has the same date with me filed March 4th has bio-metrics March 20th and he is having an interview the same date with me. There is nothing fair about it and it is crazy that he is already scheduled in the beginning it got me all riled up but it is not their fault that's how this system works.

Alright one more peep, lol.

This isnt an issue of us being mad at January and February being approved NATURALLY or even about ppl applying for expeditions when entitled to though.

It's about trying to circumvent the process unnaturally by placing a service enquiry when not entitled to and thinking one is entitled more than others and then laughing about it.

I think there may have been some misunderstandings here and I'm not defending anyone but right now - calling is not the issue I believe. I believe this is about submitting a case inquiry through the USCIS website, which currently should only be done by those whose processing times are now considered to be 'Out of Processing Times' - which at the moment on the USCIS website is showing 20th Sept 2018 as the date. I believe what others have been trying to say, is that it's not fair that someone who has been waiting from September and is awaiting a response to their case inquiry, is then delayed on getting an answer to their inquiry, because other people who are 'within' the processing times are making inquiries, when it's not really their turn to do so?

Everyone here is trying to support each other - and I don't think anyone meant any harm with their words, just trying to make people aware and be sensitive of what they are typing as there are numerous people who have been waiting 200+ days for their EAD/AP with no response and are still being told to wait a further 30 days. You have to imagine the upset and frustration for the people who are still waiting - if you're getting upset at like day 100-120-150, please please think what it is like for those who have been waiting for even longer than that.

I 100% agreed with you and my hearts goes out to those still waiting and hoping for some results soon. 🤞❤️

Like I said, everyone has to be their own advocate and people can respectfully ask questions, share their stories or give their opinions and feedback on matters without it meaning they’re disregarding the people who filed before them.

It’s a new day so I hope to be hearing some approvals announcements 🙌🏼  Let’s build each other up and support one another.

we sent our all at once, and replied quickly (sent with express mail). EAD came first in January, then interview appointment in February, then approval in April. We sent in our Adjustment in August. We used the timelines and estimated waits for city we filed in to get an idea of how long the wait was.

No I know how it all works haha! but I received RFIE 161 days after we applied (Nov 6 2018). So I asked if an RFIE would postpone (put a halt) on the potential situation for EAD/AP approval before I reply with the evidence they need & someone replied saying that it does (which sucks)

they did the same for us. Dont know why, but we just quickly sent in whatever they wanted then got our interview a few months later. I think I sent in a notorized copy of my passport ( i think, it was so long ago)

Oh! Sorry Elly, didn’t realize you replied twice haha. Yeah, it’s super annoying. But how early did they send you an RFIE? (How many days).

Just looked at your profile, you received RFIE not even a month after you filed. I just got mine 161 days after I filed (which is utterly absurd)

So, it comes that some K1's are receiving NOA2 after 3 months. It took us 7 months to be approved and another 3 for the interview. For AOS, 150 days waiting and nothing so far.

Could be that some of us are just unlucky and that's what I want to believe.

To think that someone cheats the system or we're the victims of some sort of "discriminatory policy" makes my blood boil.

Honestly? I think USCIS saw our K1 struggle and diverted resources and now that we're on this end, those resources that were once used post AOS application are used for them.

PS you need to edit your screen name. Its possibly bad karma lol. Jk
