Yeah, come out here and enjoy the 9 straight days of rain we've had recently!

Of course, today the sun is out and you can see Mt. Rainier - makes it worth it ;)

I had my InfoPass on Tuesday, my appointment was for 8:45am at USCIS. I left early since it's a 50 minute drive and got there for about 8:10am. Went in, friendly airport style security as usual and they just told me to go check in at the desk. I got seen straight away at 8:15am, half an hour early. Why oh why can't the rest of this process be that fast?

Anyway, I explained the situation and reason for expedite on AP and the lady explained she'd be happy to expedite but that there shouldn't be an immediate need (I explained I was aiming to go in June). She told me there's no good reason why I wouldn't have my Green Card in hand by mid-May. She did say I could pay to expedite AP, about $500 and re-send the AP again OR if I don't have GC by June 1, she said she'd do an 'emergency expedite' on AP.

I also talked to her about my RFIE for AOS in regards to my English Birth Certificate that was apparently a translation, I showed her my RFIE and my Birth Certificate. She showed the officers behind her and they scratched their heads and had a chuckle with me about the stupidity of the RFIE. They also said not to worry, someone at the NBC probably lost it. Crisis averted, hopefully in the next 6 weeks we have ALL had interviews OR have them scheduled.

Hi, can you please teach me how you schedule the infopass? I haven't been able to get one and it's really urgent. When they say scheduling team will contact me back within 72 hrs or 48 hrs will they actually call and tell me the exactly time?

Hi, when I scheduled my InfoPass I just used this link:

https://my.uscis.gov/en/appointment/us

It then gave me a choice of appointments. I managed to get one for less than a week later first thing in the morning. How have you been trying to get an InfoPass?

I never burn, like ever. A number of years ago I experienced 133℉ in DC and I am certain I no longer needed my man sausage. My bodily fluids just drained out of my skin like a sieve 😂

Ah, I thought most of the field offices are not accepting walk-in requests or scheduling InfoPass appointments anymore....The office handled my case is not accepting...

You're right. The OP just was lucky in that their office accepts online scheduled appointments.

The best remedy is to call and speak to a Tier 2 and ask for an Infopass.

Thanks for the reply both. Has anyone tried to do that and succeed? I'd like to know if the scheduling team will actually contact me back within 72 hrs or 48 hrs and tell me the exact time? My husband tried that but he said no one ever contacted...

You would only be out of normal processing times if you applied before September 18th, 2018 if your case is at the NBC (MSC receipt number) as that's the current processing date.

Are you?

You can check that here:

November 26 filer and when we check status update on our case, all it says is finger print fee recieved November 28, 2018. Hmmmmm and I just resigned from one of my jobs because working the three is killing me..... We are really hoping my husband will get his work card soon so we can both work, not just me. 😢 this is the hardest part in waiting..... when your husband wants to work and provide, and has many job offers....but can’t take any because he has no work card 😭
