I never had an update on the ap but when i got the ead card it says advance parole on the bottom.

Thanks. I’d imagine it would be that way as I applied for both ☺️

Does anyone know if USCIS work over the weekend to process applications? I’m guessing not... but secretly hoping deep down there could be an extra two days of processing. 🙏

The NBC is open from M to Sa 9am to 8pm so yes.

Sorry another question... How many days after approval did those who have been approved for EAD/AP receive their card in the post?

im thinking of just risking it and booking my flight to London for early May (NOA1 Nov 13th) and hoping I get the approval and the card before that time. Otherwise ticket prices are going up and up and probably won’t be able to afford to go if I don’t book now.  Worst case, can the AP/EAD card be posted to me in London?

Would appreciate any help on this! Thank you.

A week.

You cannot leave the US until you have the card in hand. If you do that would be abandoning your I485. It could not be sent to you abroad. You need to wait for it before you can leave. Your departure will be recorded by CBP.

Thank you, yes forgot the I-94 will also show my departure out of the US. Guess I’ll just have to be patient then and wait for approval + card in hand.

Hey!

Have you been approved already? Just can’t see with your VJ timeline...

UK prices for June + have went up. It’s not cheap for us British ones. I wish I could advise you but I haven’t received my combo yet. My anxiety is through the roof with this card despite being approved as my grand father and mum is very sick. Maybe it’d be better to book once in hand which I think is your own conclusion ☺️

Sorry re-read the above comments prior to mine. I honestly wouldn’t book anything until your actually approved and have card in hand. You’d risk losing a lot of your money. There’s no logic to NBC approvals I’m sorry. I’m frustrated for others waiting too. Hope you and everyone gets combo soon 😍

Yes, the card itself is really just a work authorization card but under where the expiration of your EAD is is where it says serves as I-512 Adavance Parole.

A year ago, we flew from LAX to London-Gatwick with Norwegian and it was pretty affordable -though we didn't eat in flight and almost starved to death :P -.

We kept checking daily before purchasing and there was always a deal.

Another choice, which I've used through the years for other routes, is searching with Orbitz.

Yes, I’m still waiting for the approval unfortunately and yes with summer season coming up it’s getting really expensive hence desperate to book ASAP.

Sorry to hear about your grandfather and mum! It’s awful, went through it in January with my Grandad but my expedited request was denied because it wasn’t exceptional enough. When you planning on going back?

Yes fingers crossed for all of us still waiting!!! ❤️

Awww thanks. I’m not planning to go back until August. Can’t afford sooner and would rather have cool down at that time as it’ll be 100F + solid from mid June etc. I’m also trying to balance commitments to my sister in law as she wants me to be her summer nanny that she will pay me well to do. Prices are crazy to UK over summer. My eyes nearly popped. I don’t want 3 transits and much prefer direct flights. I only got approved Thursday so obviously no card in hand at the mo obviously. I wouldn’t even risk booking anything even if I hadn’t been approved. My anxiety despite being approved is crazy...

The EAD/AP approvals have baffled me. It’s not fair but is what it is. But i do whole heartedly believe it’ll come soon for everyone! I’m not giving up on positive thinking and thoughts ☺️

Aww you’re fine!! You have the approval and the card will follow soon so 🍾! My anxiety will be the wait in customs when coming back into the US, feeling like a criminal after an 11 hour flight “will they let me back in?!😖”. Even thinking about which customs line to stand in scares me 😂😂😂 residents?! Visitor?! Who knows...😮

Good call on August, went to Vegas July last year and couldn’t believe the heat, experienced nothing like it before!

I’m literally like a baked tomato in Vegas!! The heat in Vegas is truly beginning to increase but I’ve terrible allergies to heat LOL! Nice all the same. Truly love Sin City :P
