In the midst of everyone getting EAD and interviews, the following just happened:

My phone goes off. I see its an email from my dad. Matt does not.

Me: Wooooo!

Matt: What? What is it? Interview scheduled?

Me: No! I won the family March Madness competition!

Matt: You got my hopes up and ripped them away. Yes, Im going to be bitter the rest of the night.

My husband sends me screenshots of other people's EAD approvals from vj in excitement and I always think it's ours. He has gotten my hopes up way too many times. 🤣

Thanks, I hope so! Just having one of those emotional 😭😢😭 days missing my family and friends and dog back home. I had my hopes set on going back for Easter. Doesn’t look like it’s happening now ☹️.

I hereby petition we all do a meeting somewhere when we've all done our oath ceremonies and have beers and foods from our collected countries!

Wouldn’t that be awesome!

It’s been such nice evening after reading all the good news, award acceptance speeches and best wishes. This thread is truly like entering a realm of solace.

I’m not a sports fan whatsoever, but I feel the joy of our team wining.

#teamnovember 💚

Hey, guys! Just found out that two days ago my status has been updated to “Your interview was scheduled” does it mean that interview’s  gonna occur within one month or the waiting time can be longer? All the websites that I looked through said that it’s true and the interview will happen in 4-5 weeks after that update. However, maybe some of you have different opinion?

Thank You

And congrats on your updates! Hopefully, all the worries are left behind and we all will continue on fight for our happiness. ☺️❤️

If I remember correctly our interview happened within a month of getting that notice in the mail! Good luck with the interview!

Maybe this is weird but after getting my EAD and condtional GC approval (card is being produced!), I feel kinda more depressed than normal. After I left my K1 interview (incredibly friendly and polite IO) I felt relieved and happy, but I now don't feel any relief at all. Maybe it was the IO at the AOS interview or maybe I'm just being a weirdo, but I don't feel welcome in the US at all. I can't really put my finger on it as to why though.. Could just be in my head. Shrug.

Awww :( That's not good. Why is it that you don't feel welcome?
