I went to the January thread and everyone is complaining about March filers getting approved, which I found honestly outrageous -and quite absurd.-

Now I don't know if those who report such early approvals, just want to create havoc.

From now on, I'll remain in the haven that is our November thread.

Yeah I'd pay more attention to our thread. Some people get extremely lucky and then theres some who don't disclose expedites (so it appears they are lucky). I just think of how September filers must feel now still waiting :(

Matt had his InfoPass yesterday to inquire about his BC confusion and expediting AP. They LFO immigration officers said they'd expect him to have a GC by mid-May, but if not he could get a one-time emergency AP on June 1. They also said his BC was probably just lost. I'm trying to not let my hopes get too high up with that information just in case it ends up not happening.

I'm sure he'll give a more detailed account of what happened :D

We're at 152 days since we got Case Received on EAD/AP.

That's great! Congratulations! 💚

I'll schedule an Infopass next week as the San Diego office states they're interviewing November now and we haven't gotten any sign of being scheduled.

I know. :(

The K1 timelines I saw and experienced had more logic, were true to the expected processing times; I was certain that would be the case with AOS. But it is not.

I wouldn't mind if we were delayed because they're processing people that filed before us, as that's the fair thing to do, but I do mind if they prioritize files with dates 2-3 months ahead of those who are still waiting.

I agree. I don't have a logical reason to give you but I wouldn't put trust in them to really care about who they process and to understand the implications of waiting for a good period of time and to live on just one income. It doesn't effect them, so why would they truly care? We are only but a number to them.

In terms of Jan approvals, I'd take them with a pinch of salt. People are reluctant to disclose expedites. I'm not sure why but maybe they may think why should they disclose an expedite whilst also having fear of being judged of 'skipping the queue' maybe (there could be reservation to avoid being judged). Some people do get lucky too.

It's interesting to see their processing though. During the good ole K1 times we seen many approvals kind of coming in around the same time for months. But AOS is much different as people are adjusting from many different things through marriage based (in our example), so I'm assuming that it makes processing illogical.

You're right. It must be a mess sorting out all those files.

I just hate this feeling of being singled out and left behind. And some days I wake up more dramatic than others. :P

That's a totally normal feeling. I think once you start to see approvals from the next month, then the following - you do get that feeling of being left behind (everyone still waiting does)! You are not on your own. No matter what there is always an inquiry period. Plus, you have the added advantage of being in a slightly faster LFO too so always bear that in mind. Some aren't so lucky in other LFO's :)

You know, I think that they've had an intern at USCIS.

Asked the Intern to hand out the next files. The Intern ends up accidentally knocking all the boxes over, and in an effort to keep it quiet, has just piled them all up and handed them out regardless of order.

Bahahaha sounds like it. I would do the same tho 😂

I agree....really confusing! We have not been on here really. Just going about life, but then one day I happened to look because I know we are getting closer and was surprised to see how close. But then I have been monitoring the activity here and getting confused because many are waiting 150 days or more but why is it saying they are at November 24 processing time and why does my estimate time keep changing to less (for example it now says April 5-19) this gets your hopes up and gets you excited but then you see people posting how long they are waiting and the wait time is much higher then 136 days. Yea I see we definitely have more days to wait. Maybe just maybe by the end of the month.....😜 that would be nice!! But I can see some are waiting 200 plus days. Yikes!! Just like the k1 process some are what seems to be “left behind” while others seem to get it wayyyyy ahead. Well that’s how this game works 🤦🏽‍♀️ Not fair but nothing we can do about it. I know some who got their green card just after a couple months waiting.....while here in Maine it says we probably will be waiting 10-22 months. 😫 hmmmmmm..... only thing making this a little better is if my husband can finally start working!! Well we patiently wait here more days......we are only 136 days....we definitely have more days to wait! Why make myself anxious by trying to figure out are we next 😜 I’m just going to think we won’t hear anything until the end of the month. But I’m so happy for those who are getting it!! Congratulations!!

Yeah don’t pay much if any attention to VJ timelines. The info on here is based on those who update their timelines. You also can’t forget that people using VJ are just a very very small percentage of those who have filed. There are many who aren’t on forums who are also undergoing the process, so that alone will make the estimates invalid.

I also know of someone who has gotten their GC interview in 4 months, it is what it is. Just some FO’s are faster than others. It sucks, but what can we do? Haha. I’m in NY and I know that the processing times here for AOS have to be extremely long.

Just dont follow the VJ timelines, be patient, time will come :) good luck!

We have the luck to be at one of the fastest offices but can't enjoy the advantages because our file was in the boxes that clumsy intern messed up.

Why, oh God, why?! 😢 😭

Do you mean the NBC or your LFO for AOS? The NBC is by far not the fastest for EAD/AP lol... :P
