That would be totally awesome! I fully support you doing so. :D

If they knew my intentions, they'd probably kick me off the property before I could even get out of my car

Okay, so I am now BEYOND confused about my RFIE. I'm about to start a topic to ask about it. But anyway, apparently they don't seem to like my Birth Certificate for some odd reason! I have included the relevant information below with personal information blanked out. If anyone has any ideas, please throw them my way!

I should add, this Birth Certificate IS a certified, full copy issued by my government and was accepted at every time I have used it, either at home or during my K1 application.

Eh???? That seems like a nonsense RFE to me! I have that exact layout for my BC. 😕 Can you maybe order another one from the UK and send your copy  that you have there off? Idk - maybe they just lost your BC and are playing for more time.

OMG! This is utterly outrageous. They consider your original birth certificate A TRANSLATION? What language do they think they speak in the UK?! This agent is seriously challenged and thinks your original BC should be in Wolverhamptonese or what?

This totally deserves an infopass and a hard slap on the head of this incompetent agent.

Man, this infuriates me, FOR REAL!

I am utterly bewildered! The BC is written in full blown English...it was issued IN ENGLAND so I don't know what the heck the issue is. I could order another, but I don't want to unless I have to. This is just absurd to me.

Just send in another copy then, with the RFE and maybe include a note that it is a copy of the birth certificate, not a translation? Maybe they were looking at someone else's case file, idk! Oh man, that must be super frustrating.

Wolverhamptonese 😂

Or maybe resend same BC with a bright yellow note reading: "I was born in ENGLAND, where ENGLISH comes from. UNDERSTOOD?"

😂😂 Oh sweet Jesus. It is very annoying! You'd think an English Birth Certificate, from England...written in English would be understandable.

As it happens, after I scheduled my InfoPass appointment I also mailed off the BC again, with a polite handwritten note stating that the BC was English, from England and that it was not a translation 😂. I should just go back to being Wolverhamptonese.

On a secondary note, I was that irritated that I drove the 15 minutes to Lee's Summit and mailed my return RFIE Certified Tracked Mail from the NBC's closest Post Office 😂 so they have really no excuse!

Are they ACTUALLY serious?? Your BC is UK approved. Fully LEGIT!!!! I'm confused with what translation they require considering our mother tongue is English in the UK? LOL

Is this the caliber and poor intelligence of people working on our cases? Like seriously?!! I'm sorry but that's an insult to get an RFIE over this.

Right!? There is literally 0 steps I can take to rectify this other than re-send it which is what I've done this afternoon. I've also scheduled an InfoPass for Tuesday morning where I'll take another copy of my BC, with copy of RFIE and I will explain plainly that an English BC from England does not need translating to English, land of the English Language 😂. It's an annoying RFIE and I view it as an attempt to delay/buy time. I was and still am pretty angry about the RFIE. If someone halfway competent had looked at the BC, I'd probably have my interview scheduled by now.
