November 2018 AOS Filers

Yes, mine is the same! It went done a ton, but now the range seems to be larger.. this weekend it dropped to April 8th-April 16th and now it's April 8th-21st. At least we can hold onto hope that we more than likely are in the month in which we will receive those combo cards. 

 

Has anyone called to just check status of the EAD/AP yet? I know we aren't pass the processing times, just curious.

Oh, I wouldn't waste my time nor energy to call. I can only imagine the script of gobbledygook they will tell you!

Ha true! I remember calling the NVC, they were at least nicer than the USCIS.. those people.. my goodness.

The new timelines are interesting. Mine is crazy. So literally went down to April 12-23. I would lean to more April 20+. Seems to be a lot of December expedites showing-well I'm assuming they are mainly expedites. Probably linked to reduction in my timeline. 

 

I'm FINALLY Day 130 and that's exciting being a late November filer 11/23

We called July 3. We were approved but it took the system 3 days to reveal that. On the same day they were like robotically saying "no updates" - yet we were approved! They were very rude I found.

I called yesterday and tier one basically read back the email that I already had on my phone lol. I was too tired of waiting on them to pick up and just said “well ok then, thank you” lol. It is like you have to demand to be transferred so that you can hear if any other steps is being taken. I just want my card the wait is excruciating 😖.

That response from them sounds about right. I wouldn't waste my time  

 

There is zero activity around my case number 500 above or 500 underneath, well maybe 1-2 approved 250 numbers after mine. But that's it.

I know it is way too early to worry -we're still stuck in "Fingerprint fee received" 😕- but I was reading on the Removal of conditions process. OMG! Seemed even more horrifying. 😭

 

Next Monday it will be 140 days since we filed. I've checked case numbers around ours and there's no movement, so it seems our file is in that forgotten box collecting dust. Who knows when they will actually touch it. Sometimes I get amazingly stressed about it and some others not that much. 

 

I guess there's no news on your RFIE yet guys? @rrobin0609 @JunkTardis

AP status reportedly never changes and if it does it will only be after you have the Combo Card on hand.

I checked yesterday and no activity for me

either. The funny thing is last week

they had a bunch of updates on the same day that I got an update. It seems like they do it in bulk.

Annoyingly not yet, we were expecting it yesterday in the mail...and this morning. But it hasn't shown up on Informed Delivery. It could still show up today though, we re-printed all the documents we sent in so we can return whatever it is we need the same day we get it. When we get it though we'll definitely share it on here! 😁

Low and behold my prediction was correct all along! They have increased processing to 5-7 months for EAD! It just maddens me so much. Like seriously, the NBC CAN'T COPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's absolutely pathetic.

 

And I'm super frustrated on behalf of all the people who were *that close* to being able to inquire. In my honest opinion they shouldn't be approving anyone past the end of October for EADs until they finish up September and have at least HALF of October done. It's absolutely ridiculous.
