Did anyone else get an email from Visa Journey informing about their approval date estimate? I've never seen it before 😂

Yup! I just kinda confused coz its says in my email April 29 EAD / April 23 AP

but in my timeline its between April 6 -19. Which is which? Kinda confused!

Crossing my fingers hoping for the earliest dates.

Please BE GOOD TO US APRIL 😄

This is indeed confusing with visajourney's approval date in our email and the approval dates on our immigration timeline. Gosh..... We all want the earliest date. I am tired of waiting. 😔

Hey guys....another random tax question (no I'm still not done, yes it is taking me forever) - I'm filling out Schedule 1 for additional income/adjustments to income. I've included my husband's foreign income (since MFJ) on line 21 under "other income". I also want to claim the student loan interest deduction since i've been paying off my loans. Do I have to list these on separate Schedule 1's? One for my husband, and one for me? I only ask because at the top of the form there's a line that says "Your social security number" and there isn't space for each spouse.

This is probably a silly question, and I apologize in advance. I've been reading through the 1040 instructions but honestly I can't seem to find an answer to this.

Hi 👋

Just got a notification from uscis

Case ready to be scheduled for interview - March 25

Interview was scheduled - April 1

I hope it’s not an April fools joke 🥴

Hope my EAD and AP and SSN will arrive to me sooner than we go the interview. 🙏

by the way they say here my EAD/AP are to be adjudicated before April 4.

It would be a really mean April Fools joke if it was!!

Congratulations on getting your interview, I hope it goes well for you guys and you get your greencard super speedy! ❤️

Thank you! ♥️

the entire immigration process is so unpredictable that I am afraid to have vain hopes and make any predictions or plans though

I don’t know how other couples go through this process and remain pretty optimistic. We both are exhausted. And a lot of family members and friends keep asking if we actually filed the paperwork and if are ok as a couple and whether I just don’t want to find a job 🤦‍♀️ - they just can’t believe that may be taking sooooo muuuuuuuuuch time

and still guys! I wish us all get our papers soon 🤗

My family have stopped asking now, they've kind of just accepted that this isn't a quick process. My husband's however...they're so confused by it all. When we first got together his mother even asked if he was sure I wasn't just in it for a greencard. 😂 Now I think she's baffled that it isn't quite that simple, and that I'm not an automatic citizen.

Ah well. EADs, APs and Interviews will come for us all, eventually. I just hope it's soon. 😂

It's called a courtesy letter because it's just that: a reminder that you have to fulfill the medical requirement of the AOS process if you have not already done so.

If you are a K1, you would have already done so.

An I693 Courtesy letter is not an RFE or a request for an I693. They have not even looked at your file to see if you submitted any medical documents. It's just a reminder. As a K1 who filed AOS within one year of your overseas medical exam start date and completed the vaccination requirements overseas, other than bringing your copy of the DS3025 Vaccination Record to the interview, you can disregard the Courtesy Letter.
