Thank you, I hope we all hear something soon. This timeline is ridiculous. Afaik it costs £95 for a marriage visa for the UK, and 2-12 weeks for approval. The US process is so convoluted. I get that it's a lot of cases to process, but when we pay the high costs we are with no ability to work I would expect better.

I couldnt agree more. The pain, hurt and everything comes with it is unbearable. They have a problem processing, they obviously recognise it with increasing to 4.5-6.5 months yet still don’t seem to be sharing the workload out with other processing centres. They probably don’t realise the impact this has on couples.

In whatever positive I can strike is thatI really do feel that April will see many Oct/November filers flooding in too. I’ve been the grinch the past few days and the words and names I’ve been using to describe this wait have been disgraceful!! My mouth should have been washed out with soap lol 😂

I am very salty about this today too 😂

Salty day for us Brits I guess 😂

To be honest i think that the K1 should come with the ability to work built in. They already know why we're here, and what we're planning on doing here - why make it harder than it needs to be?

ROC Timeline:

Date format is MM/DD/YY

05/16/19 - Green Card Issue Date

03/10/21 - Sent ROC paperwork to Phoenix, AZ | USPS 2-Day Shipping

04/07/21 - NOA1 Text Messages Received

I was also going to quote your post but I’m slow as no coffee yet. Fire Jan if she’s still working on September at this point and not productive enough 🙈🙈🙈🤣🤣🤣

Dangit Jan! We're waiting here! 😂

Too long chatting by the water cooler.

(I've also had no coffee, maybe that's half my issue)

I think they are fully aware of the impact that the delays have. I think this is the retarded way the government decided to discourage anyone that wanted to commit fraud and overall slow down immigration to point that people won't consider applying for benefits here. I mean if you look at the processing time it is insane. Based on USCIS the applications have declined dramatically the last years across all different immigration categories. However processing times have increased 3-4 times since 2016. This is an attempt to slow down immigration to a standstill.

Listen up everybody, we need to all drink coffee before coming here, so we can all think clearly and possibly be less grouchy hehehe. And no, decaf coffee doesn’t count. 😀😁😁

I agree. I fail to understand how they aren't getting a better grip on this process. I understand that they have a large workload, but there truly is no reason to do some form of workload balancing and distribute it evenly across all their centers, even at national embassies if necessary. Holding people in a state of limbo in excess of 5-6 months with no ability to earn, ordered to stay put is a big ask. I really wouldn't mind this, if it weren't for us being kept so in the dark and seeing people who file much later through the same offices getting approved so quickly.

I agree. It would be further evidence to showing intent, and would also decrease the stress and load on the petitioner. The affidavit should strictly be a 'fallback' imo for when the beneficiary is struggling to find work upon moving. It would also help contribute towards the US economy so it's a win-win.

Coffee sounds like a winner to me, I woke up with a migraine today, so I'm pretty sure that's why I am so grinchy today 😂😂

Janny also has a personal life you can't be so selfish she can't just look at the computer 8 hours out of the day for your immigration benefits. Grow some perspective here. She needs to go to Florida get some rest jeeez you foreigners don't seem to understand.

Yeah I agree. I still don’t understand why they wouldn’t make their own life easier with sharing the workload with other centres who have a quicker turn around due to lower volumes of EAD’s say. Maybe I’m overthinking it

You are awesomeeee! Thanks for putting that together!! Don't you think the approval numbers look really low? Like the first set msc1990000001-1990100000 is prob mid Sept - early Oct right? I find it hard to believe only 5-6% have been approved. Would you be able to also pull data from end of aug to early September just to do a sanity check on the % approval? I would imagine that number should be like 90% at least on the EAD/AP side right 😆😆😆

Do we know where this website gets it's data from? I took a very brief peek. Is it possible they get their data from my.uscis.gov where the statuses rarely update.....

I am getting so pissed off with how long this ####### is taking. I'm due to fly out to the UK in June/July with @rrobin0609. I'm extremely tempted to expedite. Both my parents are midway through some pretty major surgeries right now. Think they'll allow an expedite for that? They aren't in the best of health at the moment. I haven't got a clue how to expedite at this point.

Maybe you could wait until mid April and if nothing has happened, fax documents regarding your parents surgeries and health condition to expedite. I'm certain that's a justified reason to do so.

And I wish a speed recovery for them. I can totally understand the feeling.
