I-551 stamp and Online status changed / What is my current status

Hi 

 

I(Married to USC) had AOS interview and was approved/I-551 stamped/Online status Changed to New Card is being Produced.

I am inviting my parents for my wedding Ceremony. While I am filling out I-134 what  status should I mention ? Lawful permanent resident or Non immigrant visa as I don't have my Green Card in hand?

I 134 is not relevant for a B2, you can elamil, call whatever an invitation.

You do not need an I-134.  Nothing you can do will help.  Your parents must qualify for the B2 on their own merits.  They must demonstrate strong ties to their country to convince the CO that they will not stay in the US after the authorized time has expired.....good luck.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

If you have an i551 stamp you’re an LPR. It’s status dependent, not dependent on whether you have a plastic card in your possession!
