My congressman contacted the California service center and this was the reply they got back. Does this mean that we’re getting a RFE or NOA2 in the next 15 days? I haven’t seen this kind of reply before on here so very confused.

Reading the notice you are getting one of the decision's that is listed at the *. We know as much as you do. It's time to wait for their reply.

Can you please tell how did you found out? Did you call USCIS? Also what was your rfe about. We are also waiting for a while now. Thank You, and Congratulations!!!

Yes, I contacted USCIS two days ago via phone the officer was able to tell me that I should be receiving “something” in the mail she also said congratulations to my fiancé and I which hinted that my application was accepted. My rfe was for “intent to marry” and a “passport style photo”. Just give it some time I’m sure you’ll get your response from them soon. Usually takes about two weeks but they have up to 60 days to reply to your RFE. What I did was check in every other day or two via phone once it got close to that two week mark. Good luck! 👍🏾

I dont know which officers you talked to but I called a few times and every single time I called they were rude and dry. All they keep telling me is "call back in 60 days", they could not even tell me if anyone in that office even took a look on my case since they get their rfe response back. Congrats again and good luck with the rest of your journey.

Thank you. Have you tried requesting to speak to a tier 2 officer?

I asked them today and they refused they said they are experiencing a high volume of calls and they are not accepting phone calls now. I think that was a trick to get read of me because when I called was only 1 pm easter time.

I understand your frustration @Victoria85. Alto I'm still waiting an approval. I called they the last week and they said "the Rfe's reply could be take 60 days". They never tell me something real

Thank you, have you tried calling at 9am when they first get into their office? You should try then.

I did. The problem is that they refuse to give me any info. All they say is wait. Even tier 2 and get back in 60 days. I call them once or twice per week and they are like " you call us every week and we keep telling you to wait". At this point I am disappointed and hopeless.

Don’t be disappointed this isn’t a short process there’s a lot of waiting involve even after NOA2.  In the mean time keep yourself busy find new hobbies, build more with your fiancé and stay positive. The more you think about it the slower the process feels. Calling them won’t make them speed it up. Everyone here has or is going through the same wait times some get lucky but there’s no avoiding the wait. Give it another week or so and enjoy your weekend USCIS has their own way of working and they’ll get to your application for sure.

So true. I wish more VJ'rs would take the time to understand that this is a waiting game. They only thing they promised was an answer. They never promised that it would be on the VJr's timeline but only theirs. Thanks for adding your comment.
