No you should not be worried not much you really can do other than to continue to wait, it will still be awhile before you can even put in a out of processing inquiry. I know how you feel though you just have to remain strong and don't let it get to you USCIS has their own way to do things and no one can predict, you will hear word it will come maybe not as quick as you would like but it will come.

Thank you very much, i appreciate your encouraging words.

Many people will experience your same timeline.  Not uncommon for people to still be waiting while others are being approved.  Most who submit an application will be approved.  So there is nothing to be worried about.

Thank you very much for the positive vibes :)

Hello everyone. New to this but we were approved on April 3rd. NOA 1 date was November 23rd.

The new website is still not updated. I called on April 8th just to hear them say “no new update” and to my surprise the lady said we had already been approved and the hard copy was already sent. Went to the mailbox that day and there it was. I didn’t believe her at first because the website wasn’t updated but it was true. Best of luck to everyone else.

I finally got my NOA1 today...

my question is, we gather all documents last August and to be filed in November ( due to the lawyer drama, it was left untouched and was never filed until 2 weeks ago if anyone remember ).

would police check and back ground check documents be expired? do i need to apply again for just in case?

i used to live in Australia and that policy check took 2 months to be complete... i would need to apply in advance if USCIS need a fresh one...

Hello! this is my first time posting here... 😢

We received today a RFE, regarding our case, asking us for legitimate proof of our meeting in person within the 2 years requirement. We would like to know how to respond properly, due to in the application we included pictures of many different moments and events together, each of them with a little description of what we were doing that day, date, etc. WE DO ACCOMPLISH the two-year requirement. We don’t have any travel  documents because we used to live in the same city since we met in 2015 until September 2018, when Cristian, my fiance (the petitionary), moved to the US.

Within that 3-year period we used to see each other almost every day and that’s why we are a little sad and we would like to know if you guys have any advice or recommendation to respond to this, what stuff we should include, should we send the same pictures, i don't know 😢😢...

P.S: We don’t even know why are they asking us for school transcripts

P.S2: We are attaching a photo of our RFE.

We would be very grateful with your help!!

Thanks...

What about train ticket or tickets for theme park and other tourist spot you two visit together?

Have you two travel together? you may ask hotel for invoice if you didnt keep the original copy. Most hotels keep record for 2 years

Hello! unfortunately we haven't travel together. And here, in Venezuela, we don't have train tickets (bc it is free, most of the time) and theme parks doesn't exist😢. We used to go out to eat, to the movies, drive around the city, go to the beach, or just spend time at each other's house... All we have are pictures, and I don't know how to demostrate to USCIS the legitimate date of them. We were a normal couple, in our home country, until Venezuela situation got worse and my fiance had to emigrate to the US 😐

Did you include his passport or travel document in the file? There might be stamp entering and leaving Venezuela on passport somewhere.

Another thing you could do is ask friends and family to write statements for you, same thing as the letter of intent you and your fiance submitted.

here is an article i found https://www.visatutor.com/witness-affidavits-help-k-1-visa-cases-red-flags/

I am agree with @W.Rominger you should include letters from your close friends and family member, preferably one from friends and another from family member to confirm your situation that you guys stayed in same city for all the years. and maybe attach pictures with screen shot from your gallery because it will show the location and date on top of the pic, make sure you attach the copies of passport as well of your friends/family member who confirming your relationship this is very important. best of luck 😊

Glad to know you got the NOA1, so you submitted case yourself or your lawyer did?

Yes better to get new one but i think wait for a month or two then apply because USCIS takes mostly minimum 4 months to start sending results, so in case your NOA2 took more time so your police certificate should not be expired again, i think each certificate is valid for 6 month, depends on the country though.... well these rules ... sigh :(

Best of luck 😊

Do you have any idea why they asked us for school transcripts?

Best of luck for you too! 💜💕

You both should either submit "leases" where you lived or letters from "landlords" if you did not have a lease. Yes, mom and dad can be "landlords". Any paper receipts that have both your names on them showing that you both were in the same city together. It doesn't have to be your home Country it can be anywhere in the world that you were together in the two year period. If you went to the same school together a copy of your "grades" or anything that can show the time period to which you both were together. If you have friends that have been with you and Cristian then ask that they provide a letter outlining the details. It would be a good idea to have those letters notarized.
