My fiancè received RFE for his passport photo style on the 15th of March. That was what he used for getting his US passport in 2017. He has taken another photo and resent it today March 16. Hopefully we hear of an approval soon.

Also please how do I update my timeline for the RFE since on the website it says the mail was sent on the 11th of March but it was received on the 15th of March

Thanks for let us know!  I wanted to sent my passport photo, to save $14.99  for new photos, but something inside of me said Noooo.

@rsanda I sent my petition 5 days after yours, I hope to hear something soon. I check my mail box everyday..☹️  I need more patient!!

Don't worry. Just a little patience, your approval is coming. We thought it would take 6 or more months before hear from them coz I am from a high fraud country - Ghana so was surprised when the RFE came in less than 120 days and it was just about sizing and outdated passport photo he submitted.

But he posted it through normal mail,he didn't send it as a priority mail inorder to track it. Please would it cause an issue? Coz I read in the October filers group how you directed on how RFEs should be handled (that is the mail should be tracked)

Anything you send anyone you want a way to track the package.

Hey everyone,

I have a quick question.. I file taxes with my mom as her dependent.  Can I use her as my co-sponsor? I make $14,000 I'm a college student.

Noa1: 11/27

Waiting for Noa2

Depends on the embassy. Some allow and some don't.  That's a good question to ask in your subforum.

Haiti accept co-sponsor, but I just want to know if I'm her dependent is that a problem.

I will advise you to email your embassy for that specific question, my fiancee has done it everytime that she had a specific question or even my self, and they respond in a day or two at least that’s my experience with Ecuador.

What the CO has to determine is that your fiancee will not become a public charge. Now that you know that they will allow your co-sponsor to be material make sure how that will come to play during process.

I hope everything turns out good for you✌🏻

Other week gone! Who has that feeling? That this is week. 41 approvals for November latest one with a NOA1 Nov the 20th. Not bad... This week I hope they finish with October and they approve a bunch of novembers filers as well.

It’s coming! Have Faith! I hope everyone gets to have a great week! And for those in the east coast temperatures are rising. I feel that's the opening for our NOA 2.  🕶✌🏻🕶

All of the best for November's fillers. Keep check on your mail box everyday or your USPS tracking service when they scan your mail everyday before it comes to your mailbox. Will be no update on your uscis account, so don't worry about it. Just keep tracking on VJ's member timeliness and your mailbox. Then, keep praying for the best 🙏
