Hey everyone,

noa1 nov 16

rfe march 27

uscis received rfe response april 6 and we are still waiting..

rfe was about evidence of meeting in last two years and I am from Canada going to the usa

Should i expect an update on case approval?

Is VJ accurate with rfe dates? we are estimated to be approved april 9th-18th nothing yet

Don't look at the estimation time on VJ for RFE. Those are processed different. It will be up to the officer who is looking at your case when to approve you. It can be tomorrow or it can be in a week. Can be anytime now. They have 60 days to respond to an RFE

You both should either submit "leases" where you lived or letters from "landlords" if you did not have a lease. Yes, mom and dad can be "landlords". Any paper receipts that have both your names on them showing that you both were in the same city together. It doesn't have to be your home Country it can be anywhere in the world that you were together in the two year period. If you went to the same school together a copy of your "grades" or anything that can show the time period to which you both were together. If you have friends that have been with you and Cristian then ask that they provide a letter outlining the details. It would be a good idea to have those letters notarized.

thank you! ❤️

As I said usually it gets them from 2-3 weeks to answer based on other people's experiences on VJ but every case is different. If you are lucky you will get approved fast if not you will wait for it to 60 days. By the way I have the same rfe and we have the same date of delivery April 6th.

Did you feel like you already sent the info in before and wonder why you had request for evidence? I think everyone wonders why

I sent the rfe's reply in April 8th, and I am sure the mail was delivered. So, my timeline still says request for additional evidence was mailed. :(. Are your timeline updated to: response to uscis request for evidence was received? Thanks

Both. There are a hand of us with RFE 's that are still waiting on approval or any answer really.

I may as well book a month trip to some beach and just relax with a margarita and forget this will be happening soon lol and if its approved right away, I still have about 8 weeks until Montreal gets it ;) anyone else just wanna not stress?

Our timeline was updated a few days after they received it in the 2nd and time was updated on the 6th.

There you go. Just relax and hopefully it will get to you quick and you will have a reason to celebrate.

Thank you!

Do you have any idea why they asked us for school transcripts?

Best of luck for you too! 💜💕

Wild guess... maybe it is mentioned that you two went to school together somewhere?
