May i know when you track, what information would you get from the site?

Does it only tells you the case is pending, or it would give you details where its at and how long it might take to get through this step?

we asked our lawyer and it seems like she knows nothing about where and how far our application went

Please open your direct msg :)

So many November Approvals, my guess is everyone should hear something back soon or mid to late April the latest. Keep your heads up!

we hired a lawyer and sent out our application ( to lawyer) in August 2018. in November they contacted us for more i-129 filing details : letter of consent from both of us, m name in my native language...
after that, no further contact or update from lawyer ever again....

my questions would be...

what's your experience with hiring a lawyer? do u find it easier having a lawyer??

Do you get to track the progress when you apply all by yourself? our lawyer told us to "wait, we will let you know when we need you for next step".

Its too late..but a lawyer is definitely a waste of money. People still get RFEs when they have lawyers. A lawyer can not guarantee an approval. The petitions are straight forward..they only ask for eligibility to apply for a beneficiary to come here. I hope you guys consider doing AOS on your own. Just my 2 cents! Well wishes for you..

Hello! I have a question. How many photos did you send with your I-129f? The instructions says "one color passport style photograph for each, but I was reading people that sent 2 for each.

Thanks

You only need 1 passport photos for each person for the visa. The other pictures people send are to prove their relationship.

Solo necesita 1 fotos de pasaporte para cada persona para la visa. Las otras fotos que la gente envía son para probar su relación.

Ok, thank you 😘

Courage and patient to those of you that still waiting like me.

My case:

sent: 11/19

Received: 11/21

Should I call USCIS and ask about my background check.?? Or it's too early...  I saw a lot of October filers know they approved by  calling .

Really depends on who you talk to, but be prepared to hear the usual line such as " you are within the normal processing time" for most of the time.

From my experience, neither level 1 or 2 representatives were able to tell me anything regarding background check. Since your NOA1 is 11/27, you are still in a very early stage IMO.

Hey congratulations to all who received noa2. Unfortunately, I filed mine on 11/15/18 and just received a RFE notice :(  Waiting on the mail to arrive to see what I missed.

Does anyone know if we have to wait another 3~4 months after submitting an RFE notice back with the content? or would processing time be a bit faster?

HI, again. What is the date of NOA1 that I should use? Date of notice or date receipet?

I called yesterday we have the same dates! I was on hold for 35 minutes finally got through to someone she said it’s currently being processed no background checks completed yet. She said to call back 15-30 days if I don’t get any notifications

Hi everyone from November!

I've never posted in here but just want to give an update (and some hope) for others out there.

My NOA1: November 05

RFE Mailed: March 20

I just received notice of the mailing of my RFE today so hopefully it arrives soon. A Tier 2 agent is supposed to call me back to see if they can fax it to me so I can receive it a bit quicker. We'll see if that works!

*Edit, I received my notice of RFE via the old website and the Case Tracker app.

By the way if you're calling today, the wait time is about 30 minutes for a Tier 1 agent. Tier 2 is taking callbacks, 87 minutes to wait.
