General question to you all,

I am a LIN filer and the current status still shows "Fingerprints review is Completed". I decided to move forward and submit my N400 soon. Have you guys heard from other older forums about similar cases? People say might be bundled and fasten your I 751, others say opposite. Have you seen similar cases?

Can go either way, due to the fact that USCIS is so inundated with all of the various visa processes. Reviewing a couple pages of relevant cases in this forum will likely reveal a variety of adjudication, with no apparent rhyme nor reason.

Good luck on your immigration journey.

It really depends on the wait time at your local office. And you don't have that listed.

Wait time for N-400 in Seattle office is more than 14 months. For the I-751 at LIN is between 16 and 24 months. Thoughts?

Yes Seattle is very backlogged. You can go to the UCS forum they have a whole thread about the Seattle office.

I would still send in the N-400 if it was me.

Wondering if anyone from NYC is going to submit the n-400 while the i751 is pending?  Initially I was going to wait for the approval of the i-751.  But in light of the proposed increase in n-400 application fee and Vermont service center's slow movement with i-751s, I'm seriously considering to file the n-400. It's just that NYC is slow with the n-400 applications... between a rock and a hard place.

We filed N-400 with the I-751 pending.

It worked out great for us.

We got our 10 Year Green card with no RFE, interview, or transfer.

Filing N-400 with I-751 pending did not seem to hurt our I-751 process or the N-400 process.

And we just got our interview letter for citizenship/N-400.

Now, no need for a combo I-751/N-400 interview.

Glad things worked out for us.

P.S. US Spouse is from NYC and we have property there, but filed from our home, in FL.

Profile pic - Rainbow Tower of the Hilton Hawaiian Village - Waikiki, Honolulu, Hawaii.

Why this for the profile pic?  Often in movies and on TV when they show Hawaii they show this beach/view. So, instead of doing Kauai or some other locale, we decided to do here, so that whenever some show shows Hawaii and this view, we will see where we were married.

Did anybody else get their case transferred? I've had no update since I filed on November 26 and today got a letter saying case was transferred to National Benefits Center for faster processing. I'm from NYC if that helps.

Thanks for your post. I still have not filed the n-400. NYC is backlogged; FL offices are probably faster. I will wait a few months and if not I will probably file the n-400.
