GUYS! I JUST received a text from USCIS about 3 minutes ago saying that my case has been updated. So I checked "Case Status Online" and it says "New Card Being Produced. On November 14, we ordered your new card for receipt number EAC and will mail it to your address...."

But when I check my account via my.uscis.gov, it just says case received. Idk which is more accurate but I'm hoping "Case Status Online" isn't lying... lol

So yeah, my case is with VSC/I've EAC receipt number and am from NYC...

Edit to add: No, haven't filed for Citizenship yet. Honestly, not in a hurry to. Also did not have an interview and did biometrics 12/31/18. Filed 11/28/18.

Congratulations!

I received my green card a few months ago but even now the case status on the new USCIS site still  shows "fingerprint fee was received.". The old site was updated accurately throughout the process.

Nice, I'm still waiting on 'Fingerprint fee was received' in Vermont, so hoping maybe a green card will magically appear in my mail :)

Same thing here waiting biometrics show that it was completed on the myaccountDHS.gov and on the myuscis site it says case received. My patience is wearing out 😪😪😪

Ahhhhh, same here. Filed end of November 2018 and my case has never updated from case received even though I got my appointment for biometrics and had that done in July. My case was touched 02/19/19 but not a thing since. I was hoping by now I’d know something. Really wanted my GC before I fly to England next month.

I will not look back on this journey with fond memories, but I will look back knowing that every step was worth it, whatever the outcome.

Any SRC’s with approvals yet?

in couple days our case will be a year old

Mine has now been a year as of today and sadly no updates since the 1st November where my fingerprints has been completed , the latest we should hear is by July as ROC according to USCIS says longest it take is 19 months , but I am hoping for a sooner month.

My wife and kids are in the same boat with nothing since the "case received" update.

I think we're going to try calling in and asking for Tier 2 and maybe even having a service request submitted as a way to maybe trigger some action. I would hate to find out down the road that they never updated the case with the fingerprint review and possible consider it abandoned or just forgotten.

Let me know how you get on 😊 I haven’t called because I don’t want to hear that it’s still within normal processing times! I never thought about the possibility of it being classed as abandoned though. That would be devastating.

I will not look back on this journey with fond memories, but I will look back knowing that every step was worth it, whatever the outcome.

I submitted my ROC November 1 of last year and hadn’t heard a peep since, not even for a biometrics appointment. Today I got an appointment date for biometrics!!  YES!!  The end is in sight!!  FINALLY!!!!!!
