Friends,

I am a Nov 18 filer.

In March 2019  , I received a mail from USCIS indicating that I am not required to do Biometrics and they an capture the previous one. last week I got another email which requiring me to do it so. and I did it today. there was just one person before me and took me almost 10 minutes to that. ( However I forgot to have my Green card with me,   and the lady said I am supposed to provide it, but she finally accepted my other photo IDs e.g. driver license and passport).

Now I am checking the online status, and there is no update.

is there any information or experience from you all that says approximately how long after Biometrics they call you or consider your case?

Hi,

I have been a silent reader for so long and read all your stories. We share the same stress and the wait is crazy.

I am a Vermont filer for NYC. I filed in late October but my application has been returned to me because I was 2 days early. Then I resent in November and my application has been accepted. My received date was November 27. Biometrics done early January 2019.

I refreshed the app today (I usually checked around 10 times everyday) and I had a notification that my card has been delivered by the Post Office. My status has never changed from Case received. Then I went in my mailbox, it was there and the approval letter too. I don't know when I got it because I don't check my mail everyday. I'm a paperless person. I've been approved Oct. 30 but never knew about it.

Good luck everyone and wish you all to get it fast. I know how stressful it is.

Any Texas service center filers still haven’t even received a biometrics appointment?  I’ve heard absolutely nothing since receiving my extension letter earlier this year. My case has been stuck at “fingerprint fee received” since a year ago. 😩

there is a forum topic I am in that is for people that sent there info to the Texas Service Center and most of us got our Bios close to the end on October, if you haven't gotten yours yet then I recommend calling in or sent out an email about it.

Thanks!
No interview, no RFE and no status changed too. Always Case received. Then today, card in the mailbox. It seems that VSC is moving.

Wish you to have yours soon.

woww. Awesome ... i heard in this forum that for I 751 all applicants should go to interview.

My case is divorced...  I dont know how they treat divorce cases. My lawyer said there is a possibility of getting approval with no interview even for divorce cases.

I was told if you did the 2 year gc interview it has a better chance of not having another interview, I am hoping that is true and good luck on this journey :)

Even with divorce a lot of people don't have necessarily interviews. It depends mostly of the proofs that you sent to show that you got married not for immigration purposes.

Also if someone got divorced right after getting the conditional GC it seems that it's suspicious to them.

But the most important are the papers that you sent.

My divorce was one year and half after the GC issued ( few months before filling I751,  she committed adultery). I have submitted lots of papers for evidence. I think more than 200 pages. I think the officer get tired of reading all the documents.

plus that more than 150 pictures.

I've read that many VSC filers are never updated after Case received. Good luck.

Oh so you should be ok. I can't judge because you never know but I think that if you sent a lot of proofs you should skip the interview.
