Helo, WAC case number here. Filed Nov13; By April 6th, I received a letter that says no need for biometrics. Then today, I received an ASC Appointment Notice to come in at the USCIS office sometime in a few weeks. I'm assuming this is a biometrics appointment? Yes i think it is since it says “when you go to the asc to get your biometrics taken blah blah blah.” Not much info just bring the letter and an id. That’s it. It got me confused since i previously got a letter that they don’t need my biometrics taken again. I guess they changed their mind. 🙃

Same here. I received a letter in April saying no need for biometrics then just received an appointment notice. September filers who had to do biometrics were approved for GC soon after fyi. Wouldn't it make sense that it's indicative of getting approved soon since they need it for your card?

I think a lot of LIN Nov filers got their biometrics in late July so let's hope we'll hear some good news soon.

Just found this forum today... I am Nov (23) 2018 filer. Did my biometrics 12/31/18 and have yet to hear from USCIS. My case is with the Vermont Service Center. Receipt # EAC. As per USCIS Case Status Online, my status is my case has been receieved. It's been almost 8 months since I did my biometrics and my case still hasn't been updated! I tried to do a case status inquiry online but the site told me my case is within normal processing time. Sucks and makes me worry they're going to send a RFE. So strange you folks are only now getting biometrics letters...

I'm right there with you, as are all NYC people seemingly. EAC is one of the slower centers currently (along with Texas) but it looks like some July filers are getting approved. As for the biometrics, also looks like all NYC folks got to do the biometrics right away (either the local centers have more capacity or because our processing times for the inital GC were so much longer our bio expired earlier)

AOS

04/29/2016 - priority date

05/31/2016 - biometrics appointment

08/04/2016 - EAD in hand

02/08/2017 - Interview - Case held for review - Later same day status update "Card is being produced"

02/16/2017 - GC in hand!

ROC

11/15/2018 - packet signed for

12/17/2018 - biometrics appt

02/01/2019 - I551 stamp (no NOA1 received)

12/17/2019 - approved

N400

12/27/2019 - filed online

1/22/2020 - biometrics

4/1/2021 - interview

4/30/2021 - oath

Vermont Center here. I filed late October, mail received in November, completed my biometrics in Dec. No updates since then. It does not even show that finger print review completed. It seems that some October filers in Nebraska service center are getting approved. I hope Vermont starts working on our cases fast.
