About time, right?! I have informed delivery so I always check my mailbox online everyday and was shocked when I saw that letter yesterday. And my status on USCIS is still the same, they didn't send text or anything as well, so watch your mailbox, guys, cause the gap between the letter and the appointment is less than two weeks, at least for me.

November 15 Filer, Nebraska Service Center.

Bio appointment notice received today for July 24.

Nebraska center filer. Received my letter for biometrics, for July 24th.

Of course with my luck, I'm leaving on vacation on July 23d and my local office doesn't accept walk-ins.

 

So I'll be a tester for rescheduling appointment I guess

I looked on USCIS website and it's written there.

 

This office is not accepting walk-in requests or scheduling InfoPass appointments.

What a coincidence, we received our first letter from USCIS since our case was filled in November. Our biometrics is on 24th July too

Looks like mass mail was send out. My wife received her biometric as well. July 27 date. Interesting part is we did an infopass and they took her biometric almost 6 months ago.

Still no harm in taking a chance at the service center if it is within a tolerable driving distance range. Going after lunch time would (in my opinion) increase the likelihood of Walk-in success since they tend to have their main appointed horde of the day set to arrive for 8:00am.

Biometrics July 26th so I was right about the mail seems every LIN getting biometrics now

My service center also doesn't accept walk-in requests, but I called USCIS customer service to set up an InfoPass appointment for my I-551 stamp, and they did it for me.

I called them. They repeated me that I can't do any walk-in, and because it's not an emergency (like needing a stamp in your passport), I can only reschedule
