Yes. My husband was with me as well. No one questioned it. Security didn't even ask me anything.

Thank you for quick reply!

I just don't want to give it up. It has great sentimental value to me.

The stamp doesnt as good as a NOA anyway. Why should I have to forfeit things for their negligence?

I went to the infopass as well. They returned my greencard back to me after stamping the passport. This was in Philadelphia office.

That's the right number. It does take a long time to finally reach them, we had to wait an hour few times. We got lucky once and only waited for 10 mins. Here's what I found online, in case you wanna try. I've never tried it though.

Get to a live person fastest: Press 1 for English, then 1, then 2, then 2. After the final 2, press # each time it prompts you to enter a number. You will need to do this three time.

So our I-751 receipt number is part of the BUG number. We received text but when we try ging online it says unknown. The immigration officer is kind enough to help us send message to their IT so we can get to online status update.

Hi everyone! Fellow November '18 filer here. I mailed my package 11/14, and then received my NOA1 in the mail on 12/31 after filing a service request about a week prior as I had not heard anything from USCIS. My GC expires 2/6/2019, so I'm glad I got the NOA1 in time.

I'm also having the issue with my receipt number turning up an error message when I go to check my case status on the USCIS website. Is the only recourse here calling USCIS and asking them to forward my concern to IT? Thanks!!

Tx is so messed up! I have gotten 5 extension letters from them! And have not made one single request for anything also other December filers have gotten different letters from them. Hopefully they get their duck in a row with ROC process!

Quick update. I called the service line last week, they suggested I get a stamp since I was less than two weeks away from my GC expiration. Next day I got a callback from (I think?) tier 2 to schedule an appointment.

He checked my records first and saw I already made an e-request and it’s been almost 30 days since they responded saying a duplicate was mailed. So he went “well you’ll probably never receive it”, so he scheduled an appointment. In NYC office, they were available as soon as next day at 7 am!

i went today and got my stamp and got to keep my GC, yay!
