Anyone get an NOA out of WAC (California) yet?

Yeah, quite a few people have received NOA's from California, myself included.  Seems to be taking about a month for the lucky ones.  The unlucky ones need to file requests for non-delivery.

No one has had biometrics from CSC since April it seems.

I haven't received NOA yet.  I made a request for non delivery so I really hope I will get one soon!

Hi all,

I hope the removal of conditions process is moving along smoothly for most. My GC  is expring on Feb 02, 2019. I sent my I-751 package on Nov 05. I received a text receipt confirmation on 11/11/18 indicating that I'd receive a hard copy confirmation (I-797) in the mail. Unfortunately, I still haven't gotten it.

I did receive my biometrics appointment in mid-December, but had to postpone the appt to January because I was in Germany for the holidays. I did an early walk-in on Jan 04 instead of waiting for my appointment on Jan 11 (which went super smoothly).

Has anyone else gotten a biometrics appointment before their I-797? I'm getting a bit nervous that the I-797 may have gotten lost -- just realized that it usually comes before the biometrics appointment. I guess calling USCIS would be the best course of action. But since they're closed today, I wanted to check with you all first.

And apologies if this question has already been asked. Did not make it through all the 50 pages in this thread...

Thank you very much!

You can contact uscis tomorrow and let them know your situation as nicely to speak to a tier 2 officer and they will send it out to you.  I havent gotten my biometrics as yet but my i797 came in the mail after speaking to a tier 2 officer it was mailed the same day. Also you can try entering a e request on the Usics page for non delivery. Good luck keep us posted.

We filed our ROC on 11/27/18 and our check was cashed/electronic message verifying our receipt number was received on 12/3/18 - when we spoke to a Tier 2 officer on 12/28/18 he opened a request for us which we've heard nothing from.  We have a confirmation number from that, but we can't find anywhere to check the status of the request he submitted for us; any advice?

In addition, all of our local USCIS offices are no longer allowing walk-ins or infopass appointments to be made online which makes this situation extra fun to navigate.

If we submit another e-request for nondelivery online once this one expires on the coming Monday, will they allow us to make an infopass appointment on the phone if the erequest is pending?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

You still have a week to go before it expires. Keep following up. They took exactly 31 days to process our Tier 2 request.

Thanks, Eddy! We're planning on calling tomorrow since they're closed for MLK day today. Did you call to follow up with your request and, if so, was that useful?

Appreciate the reply.

We called various times but didn't hear of any progress until after 30 days. That's when they informed us that our request was processed and we should receive NOA in 30 days and Biometrics appoint on 60 days. We received NOA the next day.

Glad to hear this is not out of the ordinary. Thanks for your quick input! I just checked my case status and it says they completed fingerprint review and are working on Form I-751. I will try calling later and see if my I-797 was already sent or is still being processed. If I don't get it in time before my greencard expires, I hope the receipt number will be sufficient for my employer. Good luck everyone!

Just wanted to quickly follow-up on this. I finally managed to get a USCIS representative on the phone and it turns out that my I-797 was lost after all. The rep just filed a request to resend it which may take up to 30 days. Seeing that you only got your confirmation text in January, this may not be the case for you. But just wanted to keep you posted (for reference, I filed my I-751 and got my receipt confirmation text in November, so I guess I should have suspected there's something wrong...).

Still no noa1 despite getting a response to e-request with a promise to resend it on Dec 27.

called USCIS, spoke with a nice tier 1 and she said they will call me back to set up an appointment to get the stamp. I was trying to avoid it as i’m on maternity leave with a newborn and in general didn’t want to give my green card up for the stamp but i’m also afraid to wait longer in case my employer inquires of my status
