I have nothing better do on a Saturday night. So I was browsing previous months hows other filers are doing! Found out CSC already started approving Jan 2018 i751 filers. I have never seen CSC approving i751 within in a year. It seems like process is speeding up.. I am in no hurry but just saying! :)

Hi Guys,

I have submitted my I-751 remove condition application in early October 2018, I've received the action of notice with extension of residency after 30 days from original date when I submitted my package to Dallas USCIS processing center.

So far it has been more then two months I haven't heard anything back from them.

My case status with USCIS online still display the same notification, that they have received my application and it's actually under review through the USCIS.

My question is does anybody going through the same thing? and whats the wait time to receive the green card.

Does it normally take more then 60 days after receiving the action notice to get the appointment for Bio Metrics.

Thank you for your help.

It isn't necessary that you'll even get a biometrics appointment. If your biometrics are current in their system then they might skip it. At least that is my understanding. You can contact them to find out the details.

Also, based on how long it took them to process our NOAs, I am not expecting ours to arrive anytime soon.

Thanks

Should I call and ask if they've ever sent me a biometric appoinment? I registered for text notification and I checked online but no update besides your case is received.

Sure. It never hurts to ask. I doubt that you'll get a straight answer though. I'd say keep trying.

Good luck!

I called them about this. The Tier 2 officer said that they will set up biometric appointment within 30 days. But I'm not sure if she's actually gonna do that. I'm just gonna wait, unless I don't get any update for months lol.
