I just called the customer service and the rep provides me with the case number. Also opens a service request and told me that i should hear back by Jan. 25h at the latest.

He also gave me a reference number that starts with a T.

I got my I-551 stamp today at USCIS Field Office. Still no NOA yet. I'd like to share my experience for infopass appointment. My appointment was at 3:30 but I got there early at 3:00 and since there was no line at all, the officer told me to come to his window and asked the reason I was there. So I explained, and he asked for my green card and passport, waited for 5 mins and that's it. On the stamp, it says "employment authorized" along with my A# and case # and it's valid for a year. I feel bad for everyone who can't even get help setting up the appointment, but I read this comment and maybe it's something you can try. Based on my experience, security officers didn't even ask anything, they just scanned me and let me through.

I submitted a e request for my NOA1 not arriving, got a response a few days later just saying "Your I-751 is within the processing times, please see uscis.gov for expected processing times", great, they didn't even look at my request properly, will try getting a Tier 2 agent today to explain that it's for the missing NOA1 >.<

Didn't you get the stamp already? Why would you still need NOA1? I believe the extension letter only works together with a GC.

Yeah I have a stamp, I just want the NOA1 for completion, I like to just have everything from USCIS in paper in front of me.

Today USCIS agent informed us that we can't get our passport stamped until after biometrics appointment. Is it true or she didn't know what she was talking about?

I've not heard that, I did them both on the same day to save me a trip and on the day I had the passport stamped before the biometrics.

I spoke to USCIS today and they just told me they will not resend the NOA and there is nothing they can do, they said to just book an INFOPASS for the stamp, so I think you are OK going ahead with the stamp.

I went to an Infopass appointment. The officer stamped my passport and told me that the status of my case is "setting up biometrics appointment". I've not received any letter yet - neither the NOA nor the biometrics letter.

Glad to know that you got your passport stamped. We are trying to setup an appointment for next week. Can you please share which service center is processing your case? Is it Texas Service Center?

Do you have USCIS account? I wonder if they ever update the status on our USCIS account or not. I mean, how do we know what we have to do if we never get the letter. This is frustrating, I still haven't received anything and the status on my account is still "you do not need to do anything at this time".

Filed: Timeline

We are in the same boat as several others. Filed in November. We did receive the biometrics appointment notice, attended biometrics, but no NOA1/receipt notice/extension letter has come. We have USPS Informed Delivery so I can see our mail before it arrives and I am 100% sure it isn’t just something we missed in the mail. Either they didn’t send it, or they sent it somewhere else. Did submit an e-request, waiting to see if that gets us anywhere. Giving it another few days and then we will have to try to schedule an Infopass for the stamp, as GC expires early next month.
