I'm a December filer and I just got my extension today they cashed my check on the 21st and I got my text on the 20th and got my extension today in the mail. Did not expect that at all from reading how many waits so long. So hopefully they are starting to pick up the speed.

My case is at Texas service center too. I'm still waiting for NOA or biometrics. My packet was delivered 11/30 and all I got was a text that said that my case was received and credit card was charged but that's it. I've not gotten anything in the mail.

Hopefully, you will get it soon! 

 

Bio comes a bit later than the NOA1 

 

 

Just saw we also had a Nebraska filer who also got theirs today! Hoping it will be good news for all service centers.

no i did not. my lawyer told me at the worst case in five weeks after you filed, you are supposed to hear sth from uscis. an mine was in fifth week.

he said they will send another mail indicating bio-metrics appointment.

Since other people have gotten their letters from Vermont I'm pretty bummed. Also gave up the green card to USCIS for a stamp so no hope of renewing drivers license then? Am in Boston.

Boston-ish here as well, No NOA1 yet from Vermont, check chased 11/8. Had my biometrics letter and appointment, so at least thats happened. I gave up my green card for a stamp as well as I'm traveling tomorrow and really don't want to leave with a nearly expiring green card and no extension letter.

still sadly waiting on mine and its been 42 days so far, this is insane how people who mailed there forms in December already got there NOA1. don't get me wrong I happy they got theres I am just frustrated that I didn't get mine and its been over a month, I am happy I was still able to go to vegas with my family for xmas and did not have any issues with it but would love to go to Canada to be there for my nephews birthday.

if this is the case then I need to call them cause I got the text the next day but no letter

So a lot of December filers have gotten their NOA1/Extension but it is all those accepted after December 10th where the new rules kicked in so I’m thinking there are separating those filers from the rest of you and that would explain why.

in a way that's messed up , if the rules have changed that should have put that towards the old filers that did not get there letters ,but in the end there is no point of being upset I will just call them

Maybe you can stop worry about it so much and try going on with life?  Keep yourself busy.  Get a job or volunteer.  Constantly worrying about every little thing in this process will make you crazy!

My green card expires on early February. Haven't gotten my NOA1 (e-notification received on November 16th). During  the past week I crossed the border to Canada at Niagara Falls twice and had no issue to get back in the USA. I am so relieved!!

Still it would be such a peace of mind to have the NOA1 with me...I did a e-request on December 17 and all I have gotten is a Request confirmation via email the same day, but no news on my NOA1.

Oh well...I am trying to get my mind distracted so I do not get anxious about this.
