Went to USCIS - they took my green card and gave me an I-551 stamp. They showed me a small stack of green cards when I asked if I could just keep it and they said no... Looks like other people handed it in for stamps too. So now I have no green card, no NOA (they said I no longer need it as I have a stamp), and just a I-551 stamp with handwritten alien number and 1 year extension. It almost doesn't feel legit! But it is.

Same thing here, the fact it's handwritten in red pen is a little unnerving, but it's got the full embossed stamp thing

Do you suggest I email them instead of calling?  My timeline is pretty much identical to yours.  My package was received November 1st and I called on December 3rd for non delivery also. Since then tho I have not received any email nor any notice in the mail. I was considering calling again tomorrow... or should I continue to sit tight??

I did e-request online for non delivery of notice on 03 Dec. May be you can try e-request if their system let you do that...I was not expecting to get I 797 this fast but they decided to surprise me :)

Hi guys,

a question for those of you who did their biometrics already, was it the full hand bios like AOS or n400 or was it just the thumb print ?

I have received my I-797C. the receipt number starting with SRC which indicates the Texas center for the next processes.

Filed on Nov 16 and received the i-797C on Dec 14.

We filed on Nov 16th and haven't received my i797 yet. Ours is SRC as well. Did you make an e-request?

Finally some news!!!  I called (AGAIN) today cuz after filing November 1st and calling for a service request for non delivery on December 3rd I STILL have not received anything... (And also the rep who answered the first call couldn’t give me a receipt number, so I’ve just been in the dark this whole time. So I was also unable to request info regarding non delivery online cuz it won’t open a service request without a receipt number.)

Well this time I called and got a receipt number!  Yay!  SRC— Texas Service Center!

Aaaaaand now I wait. Again. Lol.

I did an e-request on Dec 13th (my case was received on Nov 13th) for non-delivery of I-797. Still waiting on a response from USCIS. I didn't try calling them since I prefer to have something in writing rather than a conversation :)

I dont see the option for non-delivery of I-797. what options did you select?
