It seems like you guys activated service called informed delivery what is process to activate it Whats benefit of activating this service aren’t they send email in morning and you receive letter in mail on that same day

Got my NOA1 in the mail today!!

 

My timeline:

11/05/2018: ROC package sent

11/06/2018: Package delivered at P.O. Box, AZ

11/13/2018: Check got cash and text with receipt # (heading to Nebraska)

12/11/2018: NOA1 received in the mail

I got my text with receipt number on 12/6 and it said they received my I-751 on 12/3. Now I'm just waiting for receipt letters in the mail. I'm SRC (Texas Sevice Center)

I wonder if they mailed it out if we even need the actual physical copy cause it should be on there systems of the 18 month extension should it not?

Sent out my husbands packet around 11/16. Haven't received an NOA yet but from checking online it was received on 11/23.

You need it if you plan to travel outside of the country.  You'll need to show it when checking in on a flight or at customs re-entering.  You also might need it to renew your driver's license or prove you can legally work.

I got my drivers license this year here so I am good with that n I am still currently working, I think someone in this forum said I can still even though I didn't get my letter yet, as for the travelling its a bummer cause I don't why the border wont have this info on there computer

I have filed on Nov 16 , 2018 and I did not know about G1145, neither my lawyer ( i guess) cause if he knew that he would let me know.

 Now my question is how should I know what is my receipt number? 

If I call USCIS, do they provide it to me?

I even do not know if they cashed my money order or not? because I think I lost the serial number of my money order. I am not an un-organized person, it was because of lack of my knowledge about these processes. 😥

I have a trip coming up in march 2019 to PVR, Mexico. Question is what if I haven't received my extension letter before the trip? What do I do?? My green card will expire at the end of February 2019.
