Hi guys-

quick q's

Did you guys include both of your driver license?

My wife never really updated her license when she moved in with us- so her driver license still shows her old address. She did just recently updated her address online- but on the physical card itself- it's still showing her old address. Do we need to request a replacement card that shows her updated address?

Thank You!!

Great, thanks for giving me some piece of mind..

One more question, should I be able to renew my drivers license? It expired the same day that my green card expired, so I think I need to wait for my NOA-1 in order to renew it. Is that correct?

I believe you would need the NOA-1 to have your drivers license renewed.

We did include ours. But it's not required. If you have enough strong evidence, I would not worry too much about it.

I'm sure immigration is quite used to people traveling with their conditional GC's close to expiring.  I don't think you'll have any trouble.  You definitely can't travel after it's expired without the extension letter.

Thanks! Fortunately for me the trip just got canceled.

hi everyone

I have filed my i-751.

window opened on Nov 8, 2018.

Filed on Nov 16, 2018.

mailed to Texas center.

My question is when i check the processing time in USCIS website, it says 17.5 to 19.5 months is processing time.!!!! is that really true? it means we should wait almost two years?

Incredible!!! Right? But somehow true for most cases.

I believe this whole thing works by case. Some cases get approved faster than others. And also depending on your service center speed. Some centers work faster than others.

I read in some threads where applicants were approved in less than 6 months, others took more than 2 years. And if you file your naturalization while your i751 is pending,  that might help to save time. At the end of the 2 years of waiting,  you don't just get your i-751 approved, you also become a us citizen and end dealing with immigration for a while.

Hi everyone,

We sent the package to Lewisville, TX via UPS and it was received on November 13 (based on the UPS tracking). It looks like some people have received a text or their cash was cashed within a few days. We haven't received any text and our check hasn't been cashed.

Here goes my concern...

When the UPS guy typed in the address for shipping, I gave him the full UPS address. But he said below is what they have in the system and it should be fine:

2501 S State Hwy
Suite 400
Lewisville, TX 75067

He omitted the "121 Business" part from the address (on the website, it says "2501 S State Hwy 121 Business). At that time, I thought since I'm including "USCIS, Attn: I-751", it should not be a problem. But now I'm concerned and I called UPS. They said it shouldn't be a problem, either. I'm wondering if anyone has sent the package to the address without "121 Business" and if the package was well-received (and the check was cashed).

I don't know if I should re-send the package....Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I wonder if its possible that you can call USCIS and see if they received anything

I 751 delivered on 11/15/2018.

Check was cashed 11/21/2018 (Today)

Received text included LIN# 11/21/2018 (Today) There is no email yet.

When I check the case status it shows:

Validation Error(s)
You must correct the following error(s) before proceeding:

  • You are attempting to add a receipt number that does not exist in My Case Status. Please check your receipt number and try again.

I believe it is still a new case number and was not updated yet. Thoughts?
