I have been quiet, but observant, an really trying not to get overwhelmed. Last night I was particularly stressed, wondering if I would get an RFE....

Today, everything is better! Hubby and I will go out to celebrate!!! I just got a notification in a change of my case status.

"Card is being produced"!!!

What a relief. Next step N-400

Wishing everyone still waiting, that you get your card soon. My signature has my timeline and here is some additional info. Happy to answer any questions you might have:

- Submitted mid November 2018 - Texas Service Center

- Didn't get extension letter so I requested a copy

- Copy hadn't arrived and the card was close to expire so I requested online an infopass on January 2019 and got an I-551 stamp in my passport that would last 1 year . They took my green card and they mentioned I could keep the extension letter as a reference when I got it

- Got the extension letter copy  via post

- Got a biometric appointment letter for November 2019

- Requested a new infopass to renew my I-551 stamp on my passport. I had to wait 30 days before it expired to be able to schedule the infopass and they called me to schedule it once I called to explain my situation.

- Got the renewal of the stamp  on December 2019

- After 15 month and a week of waiting I got a notification that my status has changed. Went online and confirmed that my card was being produced.

I will confirm once I have my card with me.

Good luck everyone!

Congradulations 👌

wish good news for every one.  thank you for sharing your experience with us.

my timeline is almost the same as yours in the same center.

still waiting...  ouufff, stressing ...

Just received the notification that they received my additional evidence after they’d send me a RFE couple weeks ago. I’m so done with all of this - I resubmitted paperwork I had already send them + some extra documents.

Im sending more evidence this week. how long did it take for them to receive the evidence and to send you the notification?

Hello guys, today I received this notification from the app, I checked the website and it still appears with the status of the case received ... what do you think?  I never received any fingerprints or any other notification since they received it so far.  I do not understand what happened.  I thought they could not deny unless you did not pass the interview.

On February 24, 2020, we denied your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number SRC199008#####

We sent you a denial notice that explains why we denied your case and your options.

Please follow the instructions in the notice.

The notice will explain why it was denied.

1. It could be a mistake/glitch on their side

2. Maybe you filed later than the 90-day window?

3. Or they sent you the fingerprint notice/RFE  but you did not receive it and USCIS considers your case abandoned?

4. Maybe there were mistakes on your application or your case was incomplete and they did not catch during the initial review

5. Or they consider the case fraudulent for whatever reason; for example they found a problem with your initial Green Card application.

Hard to tell.

Almost there....next Friday - Will become a US CITIZEN!!! YAAAY!

There are many videos of oath ceremonies online!

Here is one such ceremony in Tampa, taken last month:

....

January 24th 2020 | Tampa USCIS Office

75 people became American Citizens from 30 different countries

Profile pic - Rainbow Tower of the Hilton Hawaiian Village - Waikiki, Honolulu, Hawaii.

Why this for the profile pic?  Often in movies and on TV when they show Hawaii they show this beach/view. So, instead of doing Kauai or some other locale, we decided to do here, so that whenever some show shows Hawaii and this view, we will see where we were married.

BENEFICIARY (From Dubai)

2012 - US Tourist Visa, Manila, Philippines

2012 - First Night spent in the US - Waikiki Beach, Honolulu

2016 - Wedding on the beach, Honolulu, Hawaii

2016 - Honeymoon at the hotel in this photo, Waikiki, Honolulu, Hawaii

They were filming a scene of Hawaii Five-O in the suite above ours during our Honeymoon stay! Actors everywhere!

Spouse hung out here with celebrities from the movie The Fifth Element back when he moved to Hawaii

2016 - US Spousal Visa, via DCF, Manila, Philippines

....................................

PETITIONER (from NYC)

1999 - Got a place right down the street from this hotel - Waikiki, Honolulu, Hawaii

2007 - Visited Philippines on vacation

2008 - Got a condo in Makati, PH

2012 - Considered for a role on the TV show, The Last Resort, shot out of Hawaii

....................................

SUMMARY TIMELINE

I don't know what could have really happened .. my residence expires on January 04, 2019, we sent the package to remove the conditions at the beginning of November 2018 and they received it on November 23. I  send photos, bank statements, travel, plane tickets, car insurance, we do not pay rent because we live in my sister-in-law's house we only help economically but we have no receipt that we pay anything.  We have the taxes together from the first year I arrive in the USA, 1 letter from friends in common who know us, phone bill statements.

At 15 days I got my extension for 18 months and from there I had no news.  I constantly checked for updates  or rfe, but nothing until yesterday that I got that notification in the app.  On the website where you have to create an account, it still appears that the case was received, I don't know if it has to be updated or which of the two statuses to believe.  The only red flag is that we are a same-sex couple, and he is 15 years older than me, but I think that once the visa k1 is approved, then now that did not have to give us problems because that antecedent was already there.

They didn't give me an interview or anything, I don't see any other reason to really deny it.  Has anyone here been through the same?

The only thing I can think of is that they sent you a letter for your fingerprints and somehow it got lost in the mail. Looks like your package was pretty good...what incredible back luck. Sorry to hear.

unless that has happened and they have sent the appointment for fingerprints or some rfe.  I have lived at the same address since 2016 but as I understand that it is updated on the web and it appears as you were scheduled for an appointment.  or isn't it?  on the website it should appear if you have any pending appointments but nothing is updated.  in the notification he says that I should receive a letter before March 10 with the options.

I think the best course of action is to wait for your extension letter and then take action.

You're still a permanent resident until a federal judge tells you otherwise. USCIS can giveth but cannot taketh away your residence. Keep us posted.

It should have been updated, but we are dealing with human beings; they could have made a simple mistake. I would not worry about it. If your marriage is real i.e. you did not marry your spouse for obtaining immigration benefits then you have nothing to worry about. Most denied cases eventually get approved anyway.

The only thing that could go against the applicant is if the spouse or someone close reports the applicant for marriage/immigration fraud with evidence.
