That took about 7 months to know if you need biometrics or not.

myUSCIS account is locked due to unsuccessful login attempts. I sent an online request to get the account unlocked as I was instructed. Has anyone had experience with restoring access to your online account? It is nearly impossible to talk to a customer service rep in the phone, and they don't even have that as a menu option when you call the customer service number.

When I used the old site I made a new account with a new email, much easier that way.

For anyone that is waiting for their Removal of Conditions, that ended up with a stamp on their passport since their green card extension letter got delayed.

I traveled Internationally this week and went back to the US via Orlando.

I was lucky enough to had gotten Global Entry prior to all of this. I was able to go to thought immigration on the Global Entry lane which was faster.  They took me to a separate area while they were checking on my status. It was quicker then expected. They called my name and returned the Passport with the stamp to me and no further questions were asked. 

I know getting the stamp was not my first choice. I would have rather kept my green card and carry the extension letter. But I felt it was to risky to let my green card expire with no extension letter on my hand. If I don´t get my renewed green card within a year (which it seems like that will be the case), I will need to request once more an infopass to get a new stamp. 

Hope this update helps whomever is hesitating to travel internationally with only the Passport stamp.

We just did some traveling by air within the US. My wife had her original extension letter with her, but no one asked to see it. One TSA agent mentioned that her card was "expired" but did not look at the extension letter when I mentioned we had the original with us.

Thanks for the info. Were you able to use the Global Entry lane after the  green card expired? I was under the impression that one can't use the GE lane once the actual green card expired even you have the extension letter.

Yes I was able to use the GE lane, but got asked to get in line on the diplomats and crew members line, so it was faster. I still got asked to wait until they verified my status, but since I got into the smaller line, the wait was less than if I got in the normal lane as the rest of the passengers.

does your US citizen spouse also need to file a change of address form (I 865) in addition to your change of address if you move while I751 is pending?

Just FYI that might change.  If you look at many recent months, people that previously got a letter saying they were going to reuse biometrics ended up then getting biometrics appointments anyway.  Some even just weeks after the first letter.  Keep an eye on the mail.

Seems like a lot of October filers have already finished their biometrics appointments. I haven't heard anything yet. Anyone here is also waiting for the appointment letter?

I’m waiting for my letter as well or atleast some sort of update .

Does anyone have a WAC case number? Any updates? i'm on Day 237 from my application being received and my last update was April 6th, no biometrics required.

I’m LIN with no update, it’s been 217 days for me and I don’t expect to hear anything anytime soon either  😫
