I'm assuming the NVC officers are not exempt from the government shutdown, correct?  So if the shutdown is still in effect as of Wednesday the NVC will be closed?  I hope they are exempt.

You missed the discussion on this topic that we had earlier and in some of the threads. For now they are exempt because they collect your fees and that's what supports their processes.

Dear @Greenbaum sir i need you here again may god bless you sir!! I have a question that if ceac.state.gov website says that your case is ready for your interview. And the second thing is they say please wait until you have been notified for your interview appointment.. what does it mean sir i mean where i am gonna get that notification. Will the embassy notify me or nvc. I am the beneficiary.

I would suggest that you contact your embassy for additional instructions. I do have some links for information to use.

Mine was assigned on Dec 7th (my fiance called them and they gave him the case number) and we’re waiting since then, still at NVC. We’re not calling or worried because of the holidays, we were actually expecting it. We’ll probably get it sent on the next shipment ;) though we don’t know for sure when it’s gonna be, but if not after Christmas, in January. 

K1:

I-129F Form and petition sent: May 21, 2018.

First Notice of Action: ● Old website: May 24, 2018.

                                        ● New website: May 30, 2018.

Second Notice of Action: November 6, 2018.

NVC Case # Assigned: December 7, 2018.

Finally, after many frustrating tries, I was able to log into the Ceac website and our case reads ready. @Greenbaum do I have to wait for the embassy to email me to schedule for an appointment (that's what it asks on the DS 160 form) or can I email the embassy? If so, do you have the email address for Nairobi Embassy?

We filled out tonight and emailed for the request for interview summited now let's hurry up and wait for the interview date btw Morocco is where the interview is taking place good luck everyone and Merry Christmas pray for good news after Christmas
