Yes it was a governmental institution and it was a website and since I suspect your in doubt, I recommend that you do a Google search as this is what I did to find that information for you.

Ok. I asked you because: (1) I have searched thousand of times and havent found the answer via google. (2) I asked direclty to the US embassy via email, but they havent given any answer to this question.  They havent told me if the police certificates I have are still valid after a year.

Can you please tell me the website where you found this information. In case I need to tell the CO consulate that my police certificate are still valid. Thanks a lot!

 CFO Informational Brochure: http://cfo.gov.ph/images/publications/US_infokit.pdf

** From the Family Code of the Philippines**

It states;  21-25 years old for advice and 18-21 years old for consent. (Some have noted that they were not asked for this, yet others have been asked, so be prepared) Bring the ID of the parents, plus copies, postal ID should be adequate.

An attorney in your area should have this form, being they will also have to notarize it for you.

Menstrual cycle is fine. No Problem but advise the "nurse" or assistant beforehand.

Noted that. Thank youuu sooo much!! @Greenbaum

Ok. I asked because I've a UK police certificate, I got It last year, I`m concern that by the time of the interview it won't be valid. Since in the documents list it says that police certificates are valid for one year. I have not been back, still valid  right? It's that what it says in the reply you just got?

Thanks for your reply

Most will want a PC less then 6 months old and others are 3 months. Check with your embassy.

Please verify this with your Embassy as some require a PC not be older then 1 year from another country (if you have not returned since the date issuance of the PC) but here is the general rule as outlined by DOS. It references NVC but the information they are using is for an immigrant visa and not the non-immigrant but both are true.

ImportantPolice certificates expire after one year, unless the certificate was issued from your country of previous residence and you have not returned there since the police certificate was issued. If at the time of your interview the following three items are all true, you must bring a new police certificate to your visa interview:

  • You are more than 16 years old;
  • The police certificate submitted to NVC was obtained more than one year ago; and
  • You still live in the country that issued the certificate.

For country-specific guidelines on how to obtain a police certificate, review the Country Documents section at Reciprocity by Country.

Unobtainable police certificates

If your police certificate is unavailable per the country-specific guidelines above, you do not need to submit one to the NVC. If you cannot obtain a police certificate for another reason, please submit a written explanation when you submit your other documents.

For country-specific guidelines on how to obtain a police certificate, review the Country Documents section at Reciprocity by Country. You will need one from each country that you lived for 6 months or more from the age of 16. Unless of course you were arrested prior to your 16th birthday.

@Greenbaum, I'm reaching out to the mystical wizzard of knowledge that is yourself, this may seem really stupid, but we've just read the NOA2 and there's nothing regarding the registering to another site etc.

Can my fiancee and I just wait for the letter to arrive that states we have a LDN case number to start booking the medical etc ?

There's no worry of us missing any hugely important stuff if we're not registered anywhere?

First of all, if you haven’t already done so, make sure you complete your DS-160 and request your police certificate.  When you have your case number, you can call Knightsbridge to schedule your medical exam.  You’ll need to give them your case number when you schedule your appointment.  Once you have your exam scheduled, DS-160 completed and have everything else that you need for your interview, complete the Notification of Applicant Readiness Form and when your NVC case status changes to “In-transit” you can go to https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-gb/iv to create an account and schedule an interview.  Make sure that you allow at least 5 working days between the date of your medical exam and the date of your interview or risk the results from the exam not arriving in time.  For your interview go here https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-gb/iv/  or call here 442074867822

You can complete the DS-160 now and pay the interview fee BUT you cannot book your interview date till you have "the letter" with your case number from NVC.

It's time for you to move over to the sub-forum for the Philippines and ask your questions there. Others from different countries are hard pressed to give you the answers to your questions about the process at USEM. Here is the link.
