11/27/18 - NVC Received

12/12/18 - NVC Case number

01/8/19 - Scheduled interview-APPROVED

01/21/19 - POE!

We received our case number this morning (12/10/2018).  Called them this morning, and the lady had the case number for me, I have yet to receive an email from them.  Now off to the next step...can't wait for this to be over!

What's next step after having your number just waiting to get your file in your country?

From what I understand yes. You still need to do the ds160, medical interview, and get the documents all in order.  My fiance already put everything together, we are just confused about the medical exam.

NVC received our application (NOA2) from USCIS on November 26th - when should I expect to  have a case number? I'm applying from the UK. We have called every other day for the last 2 weeks!

No one can say with any certainty. We see normally 2-4 weeks after NOA2. But your mileage may vary. More Patience is needed and calling every day is not going to move it to be faster.

obviously not calling every day to make it go faster. I am calling regularly so I know as soon as a number is assigned, rather than waiting for the confirmation email (which can take over a week from when the number is assigned)

The first page of this thread has directions on how to call NVC (and an estimate for when to do so and get useful information). The call center is open pretty long hours, and either you or your fiancé(e) can call.

Well we will call when we see somebody from nov 26 or 27 received at NVC got their number! seen like they are going with 23 received date... so lets relax a few more days :D
