Hi Karla ,I am Carole from Cameroon 🇨🇲. I also have 2kids. A 12 years old boy from a previous relationship(applying for K2) and a 4month baby with my fiance. The baby has a US passport, should he also have medical? 

Please @Greenbaum@Greenbaum can we go for the medical now cause I already have a NVC #?  Should the I134 have a wet signature or my fiancé can email and I print?

So about twenty minutes on hold to confirm about what I expected (case received on Dec 3, no NVC # yet).

Didn't ask for my name or Anastasia's or either birthdate; wonder if someone's slacking late on Friday.

When I last visited my fiancé, I thought I'd be clever and pre-date multiple intent to marry letters and the signature page of the i134 so I wouldn't have to mail him any. Unfortunately, the latest I dated was 12/1/18 but his interview is 1/15/19. Is 45 days too old where I'll need to send new versions anyway or is 45 days acceptable? Our NOA2 was 10/30/18 and NVC assigned our NVC case number on 12/4. 

 

If I have to send newer dated versions, do they have to be wet signature or can I email him scanned versions to print in country?

My experience was that they won't ask names, date of birth or any of the information until they have a case number to give you.

Yeah I thought it was interesting too that while you’re on hold the message says to have various info ready and then all they asked me for was WAC#. 

 

Still holding out tiny hope we get shipped next week but I haven’t seen anyone from around the 26th say they have their case number. 🤷🏼‍♀️

@Greenbaum if I used a lawyer for K1.Is the lawyer going to receive correspondence from NVC?is it useless to add my email address to receive notification since the lawyer is suppose to take care of that?

Hi Carolle. If the baby is american, he/she doesn't need medical, no ds-160  only goes thru the airport with you super happy Lol all this process is for inmigrants, your little baby is already american citizen.

It's your case in the embassy already? Or In transit at least? if it is, make your appoinment and make medical.

Not yet.  I just filed it yesterday. What about the $265 fee?

I don't know your embassy but here in Venezuela you pay that fee when you make the appoinment in the website for every applicant of Visa. Check website your embassy.
