I ran into the same issue so in the end I randomly choose today as my birthday (just for a test) but surprising it works, haha.

So in the end, I submitted with the wrong birth date but still get their answer.

I sent the required pack 3 documents to the embassy in Frankfurt last Thursday. The wait now drives me nuts because I wanted to be in America for Christmas :(. Sadly we had some trouble to get the tax returns earlier. The nvc case tracker told me yesterday my case was updated and today it was updated again. I wonder what they are doing lmao.

My fiance called NVC today at 7 pm (EST) and we got our case number. He was put on hold for 10 minutes..

Don't lose hope to those who are still waiting, keep calling at least once a week. We have called them twice before they gave us case number and been told to wait 8 weeks though 😅

I feel you. mine was put on hold for at least 30 mins. lol and we had called them so many times before we got our case #

Hello everyone! Just got our case number a month after our NOA2. My question is can I print my DS160 already since I already have my case number because that’s the only thing we’ve waited to complete that or do I need to wait till I have everything’s ready? TIA

Read over the following. Get connect with the Philippine sub-forum where you should not be asking questions that are associated with your interview. Link is the last on this page. Also, Hank has put together a great website for what is needed, with links to the forms for your use and is found here: http://www.visaconnection-philippines.com/k-1-visa-application.html

Also, there is a sub-forum for the Philippines here on VJ that you should be a part of. It's a good place to read what others are experiencing which will only prepare you for your interview.

Hi,

I received my NOA 2 on 20th November. I've yet to know if my case was delivered to NVC. I have tried 3 times to use askNVC website but I never get any reply back. Sad.

You may not get a reply back to confirm your submission. Your case is being adjudicated like others. What you are experiencing is normal. Were in the holiday season with days that are holidays for the workers so thing are moving but not as fast as the applicants think it should. Patience.

Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline or your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine your Embassy. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Thanks

We have experienced some quirkiness with the website. Give it 12-24 hours before trying again. Some have found this to work.

Yah, our NOA2 is on Nov 21st and I told my Fiance that December everyone takes like 2 weeks or so off work sooo let's expect January given this is a high vacation month for America. Told her unrealistic to realistic expectations right now. She is cool with it as long as I am. haha

I am joining this thread now. Received my silent approval yesterday, dated November 30th. I already sent a request to the NVC to update my email.

I have a question on the DS160. My fiance has a minor child traveling with her for a K2. The NOA2 says nothing about the child, but the child included in the original I129F application. Is all that is required is the separate DS160 & medical for the child. Do they get an NOA2 as well?

The kid won't recieve a NOA2 just the petiotioner. If the child are in the original submission,  will apply for K2 in the embassy and of course you need submit a Ds-160 for every applicant and will have medical as well. In my case, I have two small kids who apply for K2 visas with me. I'll fill three forms Ds-160.
