@Greenbaum I rang my embassy today and explained my case of trying to get my file transferred but they asked me to ring the embassy that the document will be sent to. 

Why can't things be simple. They tell you what to do and then you go to do it and then someone that has no understanding of how it works and proceeds to pass the the buck. Gerrr. 

 

Just follow along and be patient. It will work itself through.

Yes, many people have their cases, a lot today. Have you call NVC yet?, that's how most people have found about theirs.

Thank you Valmabe, I called the NVC Monday and they gave me the standard 8 weeks to receive my case from the USCIS but it’s been almost 3 and a half weeks since I got my NOA2.....so I’m just curious.

 

I am hoping the Bolivian embassy will have my case by the end of December and I’m crossing my fingers to have an interview no later than February and my fiancé Enter the USA in February.

Thank you. Just keep on calling, I just saw your NOA2 is from the 9th. ours is from the 6th. Paciencia kimosavi. When I called yesterday they had nothing, I must confessed that I called twice couldn't help my self. Today I tried late afternoon and they have my case number.

Hey @LarryHickman It's been a month (30 days) since we received our NOA 2. We have called NVC twice and send them an email and they have received our case on Nov 19. We were told to wait for 8 weeks and call them again if we haven't heard anything.

 

 

We kinda have the same timeline or plan😃. I hope that Indonesian embassy will receive our case before Christmas and I can do medical  check up January early, then will do the interview before February ends!

 

Indonesian Embassy is closed on Nov 5 because of National day of Mourning for the funeral of former President George HW Bush. So  all federal offices will be closed. Hopefully all of us will hear soon from them and we get our case number!

We are 10/25 and still waiting... 😢 NVC employee just told me it can take up to 8 weeks from the date they received the case and I thought it was 8 weeks from NOA2 approval, so I'm a little sad today.
