Good day!

Finally after a month we got our case number.

NOA 2 - OCTOBER 29

NVC RECEIVED - NOVEMBER 14

NVC ASSIGNED CASE NO - NOV 29

I hope our document will be included on the next shipment.

Is there any forum next to this step..? NO, as it is best to be in the sub forum to ask questions if you are unsure of what you are doing during the process. Link is the last entry below.

Also, there is a sub-forum for the Philippines here on VJ that you should be a part of. It's a good place to read what others are experiencing which will only prepare you for your interview.

Does the NVC send an email when they assign a case number similar to how the USCIS would send a notice that a case has been updated? Or is calling every day the only way to obtain the case number the soonest possible?

Calling is first, email is second and then snail mail. But you have to register your email with askNVC.gov. Details are on the first page of this thread.

It's been said that cases ship every other week. Even in this thread we have shared what the next shipping date is. (Please read the thread from where you left off the last time you were here) There are NO guarantees that you will be on any shipment. If you go to the first page of this thread and read what is said it will explain everything that's going to happen at this stage, what you can expect and what you can do to prepare.

Amazing, it was just yesterday and a few posts near yours that I gave the information.

Thanks! I did submit my email through askNVC.gov as soon as we received our NOA2. I received a response about a week later just saying they hadn't received our petition yet. Does that mean they now have my email associated or should I submit another inquiry now that they definitely have our petition? (I did not get an email they received the petition but found out by calling 🙂 )

We hope so but as you know their are never any guarantees or warranty's with your purchase.

Thank you so much! @Greenbaum My apologies again. I just lost the grip of my anxiety for a moment and went on a full panic mood. I appreciate all your help and will do my research thoroughly before asking questions next time.

Thank you!

Thank you!

Just get in the habit of knowing where you left off when you quit for the day, that way when you come back next day you be able to start reading from there and you'll be completely up to date on the thread. No harm. 😁

Case Numbers

Case numbers will trickle out to you over the next week but you are more apt to get your case numbers on 12/5-7 which is just prior to the bulk shipments on 12/11-12 to the embassies. Waiting to call on those dates is a better use of your time. Just our experience.

THIS! This kind of post is the reason why I don't feel the need to pick up the phone and call. 😁 just sayin

If it passed the date then it simply wasn't meant to be our time... Then I'll just wait til Mr @Greenbaum post the next date again and wait til then.

You always keep my nerve calmed, Sir.  Thank you. SO much. 🙏🏼🍻
