Hey, I can't find an answer to my question. We are waiting now for our NVC Case Number, which we should get in December. But I also will be moving to another city in December, can we put my new address in the I134 or does it have to be the one we put on the application? And where can I update my address, since I will be receiving the P3 through mail, do I contact NVC once they receive my case or mail the embassy in my country?

Provide your new address by calling NVC's Customer Assistance Center at 1-603-334-0700. You can also use their online inquiry form to send them your new address. Don't forget to let NVC know if your phone number or e-mail address has changed, too. Once you are at the interview you can verify the address to where the visa will be sent, if you embassy uses a courier. And last but not least, update USCIS https://egov.uscis.gov/coa/displayCOAForm.do.

Thanks!!! Can I already call, even if they haven't received my case yet? Or better wait until they have it?  I will have to put my address for delivery anyway when I create my account to pay for the visa, so I will enter the new one. Still not sure about the I134 form, we won't be filling it until December anyway, do I put my new address on it? I don't want them to start asking questions, why I have 2 diffrent addreses on the 2 forms?

Greenbaum I have two questions about this site and form and the other day I didn’t do this because I wasn’t sure specifically  #2 below.

1) Once the petition is approved and on its way to the NVC why update the USCIS? Just curious is this a requirement or ‘good idea’.

2. The real reason I have NOT yet updated with this form is because of the following;

This form ask if you are the ‘applicant’ or ‘petitioner’, I’m assuming applicant is the beneficiary for a K1 Visa? Obviously the petitioner is the US citizen.

One other thing there is a section on this form that ask citizenship and then after this it ask ‘in the US as’ with drop down menu. Most likely the beneficiary isn’t in the US yet but the only answer here would be to choose ‘other’ I would guess....

thanks

Why wouldn't you update all entities and begin using for all new documents. I don't want them to start asking questions, why I have 2 diffrent addreses on the 2 forms? This is not their first rodeo. They know that people move and with that movement the need to update documents. So, when you have moved then you begin using your new address for everything concerning the visa process.

1. Good idea. Besides you'll send them your I-495 AOS package and your address be updated. Or do nothing.

2. What form?

3. "Other" is like saying NA or none if it doesn't pertain to your circumstance.

2. What form?

2. I meant this page or form however someone wants to call it that fills out on this website....sorry I wasn’t clear.

This address change website appears geared toward the petitioners address change if applicable not the beneficiary. In addition to this being for the petitioner or applicant as the choices to choose from......this website also asked for zip codes and as far as I know only the US uses zip codes.

The other day you suggested I use this for my fiancé address change and I appreciate that however this looks like it’s intended for the petitioner not the beneficiary but if I’m wrong please let me know.

thanks greenbaum

We got our approval on 20.11.18.....waiting for NVC....How long does it take?

With all these approvals raining out and holiday season approaching, I'd give 2-3weeks to reach NVC, then according to NVC "protocol", it could take up to 8 week for case number to be assigned (sure some have had theirs in couple of days but..)

After that, it's another week or two to be shipped out to your country's US consulate /embassy.

Roughly said, 3 more months to get to the medex/interview stage. 😁

Our NOA2 was 11/30.  Does NVC send any information via email? Like that they received the case or the case number is ready? Or the only one way to get the information is to call them?

I am really sorry if this was asked before 🙈 We haven't called them yet, however as I see some people with similar dates are getting their numbers already.
