Canada is incredibly backed up right now; the March interview dates finally got released yesterday, which resulted in a lot of held up P4s finally getting sent out.  A lot of people booked for March 6th (February is full unless you get a cancellation).

We were in the New Year shipment to the consulate; P3 was ~18 days from there.  We were one of the lucky ones that got P4 on a fast turn-around (next day); people have been waiting 7+ days for that, too.

There's just no love for America's hat right now.

Currently, there are several couples ahead (just on VJ alone) in terms of NOA2 dates and "ready" status..going into 3-4 weeks from "ready" for some with no p3, yet. Also, a few had to resend their p3 items cuz "hi, we lost/misplaced/didn't see em" So, anyone new to "ready" status is in the s-l-o-w queue. With that said its possible for people with NOA2 dates in December to get March interview dates, maybe...

Thanks! any idea what is the earliest date open for interview? What province are you in Canada? Winnipeg, MB represent! 😁

The embassy replied to me yesterday saying my case is still being filed by the embassy and they will contact me when it is ready to be processed. The email also advised me not to send any information or Packet 3 until I have been contacted. So strange how some people are able to schedule their interviews right away and some have to wait. But I guess every embassy is different. Hope this helps:)

I got my visa interview today!!! *Dances happily*..

Tip: They schedule by NOA2 dates. Follow that, use VJ to see where you are lined up to help figure out potential dates.

Here's how: follow pictures above then select at bottom of big list exactly as i did, then you can see all applicants for your consulate and all NOA2 dates. Its been helpful for me :D

That document just started to be used by some embassies and it is informing you that you are in AP, which of course happens to everyone after an interview, and that you are to follow their instructions which in your case is to check in every two months. Someone just this week got the same document with the same reason and a few days later they had their visa. So just be patient and wait for your visa. No one can say how long that will be.
