Hi guys

About to go for medical. Is it a requirement for the K1 visa that the vaccinations are administered or can we hold off on their administration for when applying for the greencard?

Thanks

I was told it was an option for me (k1).

You have 90 days to marry and submit the AOS.

Ahhh.... thanks for answering this. So if we got married on Day 80, AOS still needs to be filed by Day 90? Interesting. I wasn’t sure if there was a separate time limit (like 90 days to get married then x time to file AoS after you get married).

No both within the 90 day window after POE. If you marry within 90 that's good, but if you don't file till 3, 6, 9 months or whenever you are technically out of status and open for deportation. Does it happen rarely to never. But you will have to explain yourself at the AOS interview and that is where it gets sticky. Good luck.

This now shows on our dashboard.. before it said it was still with Embassy/Consulate...now it says delivery information but I can't click on anything.. @Greenbaum any idea? I know before you said it would be delivered soon.. does this mean it was delivered and they haven't processed it at the mail box pickup?

Did you specify (and pay for) delivery options?

I'm sure every consulate is different, but I've found the Guangzhou consulate seem to update things for the day around lunchtime.  Maybe check again on Monday to see if it changes.

It seems entirely possible that is a normal "out for delivery" message.

If there are no appointments then it wouldn't be prudent to call again. The embassies are much better with their processes then the bigger USCIS or NVC. Rest assure when it is your turn they will respond.

I don't have the P3 instructions for your Embassy. If and when you get a copy if you could share with me then I would be able to share with others who come behind you.

I know I know but I’m a pest :)

P4 FINALLY arrived on the 28th, interview is scheduled for the 11th of February!

It was a long wait from P3 to P4, almost lost my mind.

Rob bought his plane ticket to come and be with me and hopefully we will go back home together.

It is not the most ideal flight, so if we get our visa we would fly from Belgrade-Moscow-LA-Portland.

Is it ok for my POE to be LA and give them my embassy package there and then fly to Portland? Please @Greenbaum  😎
