Hi guys, I just wanted to let you all know that I just re scheduled my appointment and saved 5 weeks! I've been trying to get a new date on the consulate website, my original interview date was March 29 and they just opened new dates starting feb 6!!! I logged in yesterday and the dates were as far as July 2019.

If anyone here is in México, this could be helpful, go to the consulate website NOW!

Mexico here! Still waiting to be able to schedule interview, but this is so comforting to know! I was thinking we might have to wait until late spring/early summer to schedule since Juarez can be so busy. Fingers crossed we're "Ready" to set up an interview soon 🤞

Hey folks, I'm doing my research but feeling a little lost here. Yesterday after getting my case and invoice number from the NVC, I filled out the online D-160 and printed out the confirmation. I haven't gotten the "Ready" message from the NVC yet to schedule an interview, so maybe I filled it out too early? Anyway, today I logged in to check the status of our case and this is the message I get instead of "At NVC" as it read yesterday before filling out the D-160. I'm apprehensive because it's asking that I pay for DS-260 rather than the D-160 that I filled out.

ActionRequiredNotice.jpg.ac7f86ee137a6bbc33988ec87d272494.jpg

I tried clicking the link to the CEAC website payment system just to see what would happen, and it won't even give me the option to pay the fees if I wanted to. When I put in my case number the message in the second photo shows up.

SummaryInformation.jpg.c752a6338974e8123fc9a9dd80f1805f.jpg

Did I do something wrong? Do I need to take any action or do I just wait until the CEAC website reads "Ready"? I'm worried it will continue to say "Action Required" unless I do something on my end. I've looked around to see if others have asked the same or similar questions, but have had no luck!

You can book a preliminary date and then keep checking the calendar every day, they fill all the spaces and when the dates are like 6 months apart, they open new spaces for interviews!

I never got that message, my case went from At NVC to IN TRANSIT to READY, I fillet out the DS160 when my case was still AT NVC right after we got the case number.

Hello all. It has been 3 weeks since the embassy received my P3 (28th of December) and I still didnt receive P4 with my interview date. I am getting beyond anxious and frustrated, especially because I saw few timelines where it took only couple of days from P3 to P4. Last week I called the embassy and was told they will send me P4 as soon as there are available appointments. Will it be of any good if Rob calls and asks today?

If there are no appointments then it wouldn't be prudent to call again. The embassies are much better with their processes then the bigger USCIS or NVC. Rest assure when it is your turn they will respond.

I don't have the P3 instructions for your Embassy. If and when you get a copy if you could share with me then I would be able to share with others who come behind you.

Hello everyone my fiancé has some questions about filling Affidavit :

1- We have a son together  that is a USA citizen. Under Part 2 on Page 2, Beneficiary's Children, should he list him as Child 2? Or is this section of the form only for the K-1 applicant children (in this case my older minor son) ?

2_Under Part 3, Other Information About the Sponsor, Dependents' Information, Page 3, does  he list me and the 2 children here also as his dependents? And on Page 4, under the same section, does he list me and  my son under the section "I have submitted a visa petition(s) to USCIS on behalf of the following persons."?
