Good Morning everyone...My fiance only has one page for w2 and one page for the form 1040 for every year...It's that ok? That is that the company where he works gave to him every year and I'm reading most people have many pages...Sooo, I'm a little concerned about it. Thanks for your help. @Greenbaum please send me some light hehe.

If your fiancé met the requirements to file a form 1040EZ (in prior tax years; the forms are different for the 2018 tax year), it's only one page.

EVIDENCE OF SUPPORT. You should be able to demonstrate that you will not become a public charge or be a burden on the U.S. taxpayers for financial support. A completed I-134 Affidavit of Support Form K1/K2 Interview Preparation Instructions – English (February 2014)  Page 3 of 9 with an original signature will be useful to the consular officer to evaluate your petitioner’s ability to be financially responsible for you. You should also submit your petitioner’s most recent U.S. Federal income tax return (Form 1040) and wage statements (Form W-2). Employment letters stating salaries and bank statements may be included to substantiate the I-134. Get the IRS transcript in place of the actual 1040 here: https://www.irs.gov/Individuals/Get-Transcript

Had my interview yesterday and at the end of everything my interviewer said “congratulations we should be able to approve your application you’ll get an email in 7-10 business days telling you when your visa will be delivered” so subject to administrative processing.

However today I’m nervous over those words “should be able to approve”

At some point soon my life is either going to be ecstatically happy or totally devastated beyond belief no wonder I feel strangely vulnerable just glad it’s 98% in favour of ecstatically happy!!! 😂😂😂  I won’t settle  until Visa in hand.

It will be approved, you’ll see!

Congratulations, I am really happy for you 🎉🎊

I am still waiting for my P4 from the embassy where they will they will tell me the interview date. Called the embassy on Thursday to ask when I might expect it and they said as soon as there are available appointment dates..

While waiting for that I had my diplomas and my birth certificate translated into English. I will need original birth certificate and translated one when Rob and I get married, but I wonder if any of you know should I have appostile stamp added to it and to my diplomas? Rob can call the court house on Monday and ask, but I am just very curios about it now.

The social security card will be marked “VALID FOR WORK ONLY WITH USCIS AUTHORIZATION”.  That means, you need to get your EAD first before you can actually work.

Thank you so much @Greenbaum You answered all of the questions I have in my mind 😄 It's like you read my mind lol. I just have one question. These words got me puzzled for a bit. Means, why get SSC when we need to file EAD before we can actually work? Is SSC a temporary work permit?

Getting you a social security card just after you arrive will give you the necessary ID to be added to the petitioner's banking, utilities etc. This will be apart of the AOS package to prove that the petitioner has comingled the beneficiary with the petitioner's accounts. Further proof that you are becoming a "family". Once you get your EAD and with the social security card you will be able to be employed.

@Greenbaum we need to go back to the local social security office when we get our marriage certificate. Does it take a long time to change our name on the social security card? Or is it like.. we will get a new card with our married name on the spot when we update our name on the local office?

Yes, you return back to the same office (you can do it an any SS office) and have it changed. It's mailed to you and receipt is about 2-3 weeks.

Do we need to do all of these in a span of 90 days? Including EAD and AOS filling..

No, but after 90 days and you haven't submitted your AOS then technically you are out if status and right for deportation.

Not many have problems with their passports as many are new. The CO are trained to assertain the validity of a passport. I wouldn't spend time worrying about it.
