Guys I need help, I have endometriosis and the confirmation I have received from the medical guys at london states the below...what exactly does my report from my surgeon need to say as I am currently waiting for surgery which I was planning on having done after the medical and interview? 6FD54FE4-2ABC-4D81-B483-99B2FD2A5A8E.thumb.png.fcacab21349a0b9467220deae0af9472.png

You need a health summary from you GP before they will complete your medical. Without the medical summary they will not grant your Visa.

I have the health summary but there is no mention of my endometriosis on that so I have asked my gp to print the letters that they have received from my gynaecologist, but I’m just confused as it says on section I, bring a report from the surgeon for any ongoing issues

Do you have any ongoing issues that require follow-up with a medical physician? That is what they are looking for to answer the "ongoing issues" question.

Do you have a copy of p3 for Philippines?

Your profile says you are processing your visa through Guam and not the Philippines. It would help us all if you were to change it if indeed you are processing through USEM.

I am due to have surgery but am waiting to do my medical and interview first ... is that advisable? What would they want included in the report?

Yes it is advisable to do your medical surgery first as the embassy medical exam date is the date from which the validity of your visa is calculated from.

They just want a summary of your medical history to insure you don't have any communicable diseases that could affect others.

Ah ok. I was going to get my visa medical and interview done first to relive that pressure.

They do get displaced but most are found. Just keep on this and don't take no. Sometimes you might have to tell a "white" lie when you make your call. Tell them that you were on the phone with a supervisor or T2 last night and got disconnected before getting your answer and because it was so close to quitting time you were on unable to connect again. Most find this helpful and they get a S/T2 shortly there after.

Received a pretty quick response from NVCResearch stating:

The National Visa Center received your inquiry and the attached I-797 Notice of Action - Approval Notice. Unfortunately we do not have a record of receiving your approved petition from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).

NVC will work with USCIS to determine the location of your petition. We will let you know when we have more information. You do not need to take any action at this time. Thank you for your patience as we work with USCIS to ensure your case is moving forward.

Of course I took action anyway, and sent a service request to USCIS using the link you provided. I got an auto response that I can expect a reply by February 1, 2019... 😖

Should I start calling USCIS also? I really want to stay on top of this because as much as I hate it, it seems that's necessary in these sorts of situations.

Thanks for all your help and support.

I think you gave them a budge with your service request. I'd give it till the middle or end of next week and then begin to call out "the big dogs".

You can if you think that you will not have any complications with your surgery. If that is more comfortable with you then go ahead and get it out of the way. But you really need to know what the timetable for your embassy is and your surgery/recovery is BEFORE you make the choice.
