@Greenbaum you wouldn’t have the packet 3 for Tanzania would you? And should it be similar to the rest of the countries if I may ask you for one of them?

Each are different but some have similar requirements. If you get a P3 letter from the Embassy at Tanzania could you PM me here on VJ with a copy so that I can share it forward with others who will come behind you? Thanks. Here is what I have on Tanzania:

There isn't much out there for Tanzania but here is the Embassy reviews http://www.visajourney.com/reviews/index.php?cnty=Tanzania

This may be off topic and delayed, but I would like to wish @Greenbaum a Happy Veterans Day! .. I saw you wrote somewhere passionately that you were a veteran and served a good amount of your lifetime serving the country. As a prospective citizen of America, I would like to thank you for your contribution towards the greatness of America, and the sacrifices you made. May you be blessed 10 times over, and may the universe grant you whatever your heart desires.❤ Thank you for all the work that you do and have done, and this goes to your fellow veterans too. 🙏🇺🇸❤ You are honoured by me.

God bless you and thanks for your services on here and to protect all of our lives

Hey guys, so just a question about the below two statements, as a beneficiary if I put in my bank statement including my fiancé’s showing that I am also able to support myself in whatever the situation arises, will that have to be signed from an officer of the bank too with the date I opened the account?

During the visa interview, applicants will be required to present evidence to the consular officer that they will not become a public charge in the United States. You may present evidence that you are able to financially support yourself or that your U.S. citizen fiancé(e) is able to provide support. The Consular Officer may request that a Form I-134, Affidavit of Support be submitted by the U.S. citizen fiancé(e).

A signed statement from an officer of the bank or other financial institution that states when you opened an account, the total amount deposited for the past year, and the present balance of such account.

Hello guys!

So my fiance will be visiting next January and we are hoping to have the interview in March- April.

I was thinking maybe he can bring the paperwork I'll need for the interview with him on that visit (affidavit form, tax return, employer letter, pay stubs, etc.) Is it a good idea to do it on January cosidering the months before interview? When do you think we should start gathering this information?

Thanks!

Also, is it best for me to get all the required docs from him now before the NVC sends the case number to the embassy? so then I’m well organised then or do I need to wait to receive something else with instructions of the required documents?

And they require the originals isn’t it for the divorce certificate, tax returns etc etc?

What method do ya’ll use to receive documents (overseas) if it were originals? How long does it take to get them ?

So I’m confused between these two

Checklist of Required Initial Evidence (for informational purposes only)

  • A signed statement from an officer of the bank or other financial institution that states when you opened an account, the total amount deposited for the past year, and the present balance of such account
  • A signed statement from your employer on business letterhead that states the date and nature of your employment, salary paid, and whether the position is temporary or permanent
  • A copy of your last income federal tax return filed, or a report of commercial rating concern (if self-employed)
  • A list containing the serial numbers and denominations of bonds and names of the owners (if applicable)

on https://www.uscis.gov/i-134 here.

 Supporting Evidence
As the sponsor, you must show you have sufficient income or financial resources to assure that the foreign national you are sponsoring will not become a public charge while in the United States.
Evidence should consist of copies of any of the documents listed below that apply to your situation.
Failure to provide evidence of sufficient income or financial resources may result in the denial of the foreign national’s application for a visa or his or her removal from the United States.
Submit in duplicate evidence of income and resources, as appropriate:

A. Statement from an officer of the bank or other financial institutions with deposits, identifying the following details regarding the account:
(1) Date account opened;
(2) Total amount deposited for the past year; and (3) Present balance.

B. Statement(s) from your employer on business stationery showing: (1) Date and nature of employment;
(2) Salary paid; and
(3) Whether the position is temporary or permanent.

C. If self-employed:
(1) Copy of last income tax return filed; or (2) Report of commercial rating concern.
D. List containing serial numbers and denominations of bonds and name of record owner(s).

on i-134instr.pdf?download=1   My question is should it be signed statement or not ?

I'm sure this has been asked a thousand times but I'm having a hard time finding it, does the USCIS send to NVC on some kind of schedule based on when the NOA2 date is? I've already told myself I'm not going to start calling NVC until the 19th (our NOA2 was the 1st) but just curious 🙂

Hah, after 9 days since I asked NVC to update my file with mine and my fiance’s email address (as @Greenbaum advised) they responded today saying they havent received our file yet. It is nice knowing it worked and that they sent me something. Not sure if they sent the same to my fiance-dont want to wake him up yet.

Does anyone have an I-134 sample.

I am confused on

Part 1 Q12  ( is this the date you entered USA? or date of PR? I am a naturalized USC)

Part 2 Q4  (Fiancé's alien number printed on NOA2?)

Part 3 Q26.a (USICS petition info. Is this current I129f petition or something else?)

Part 3 @38 a ( I checked the box I INTENT to Sponsor. What do we need to list in terms of Sponsorship? )

Any info is appreciated. If these questions are irrelevant to this grp Please direct me to correct grp for I134 form information .. 🤣

Good luck everyone for NVC cases ..waiting..
