Here is my update in case it helps anyone  out there waiting for an interview in Guyana. 

 

NOA1 - Apr 02

RFE -  Oct 25

RFE Received - Oct 29

RFE returned to USCIS - Oct 30

NOA2 - Nov 06

Case got to NVC - Nov 19

Case No Assigned - Dec 03 

Case status changed to In Transit - Dec 10

Case status changed to Ready - Dec 11

Emailed Guyana Consulate advising of Ready status - Dec 11 

Received email from Guyana Consulate with P3 email - Dec 13

Replied to Guyana Consulate with DS160 Receipt and Applicant Statement - Dec 13

Waiting to have interview date sent back from the Guyana Consulate.

Just got an email from USCIS that our case status changed and that on November 1, our case was approved. Thanks for the notice USCIS! Only 45 days too late.

Dear All....i jus got a notification that my H1B visa which my employer filed on my behalf ...Got APPROVED as well.....LOL

its raining approvals...HUHH....dnt know is it a happy news or not so Good for my K1 visa...K1 visa is already in NVC ready state...

Well I was looking at nonimmigrant....need to make sure to look in "IMMIGRANT." Our status is currently IN TRANSIT, and it's pretty sweet. Don't know how fast things move from here, but it seems like it's pretttttty fast.

Case number asigned yesterday, so now hoping to be on the next batch. Anyone an idea when it will be? Will NVC try to get rid of the cases before xmas or after??

It is a tip @Greenbaum so very kindly shared with us in his post at the very beginning of this thread (see first page, first post, all the way at the end). I just tried this for you and it appears that one packet (probably yours?!?) left Boston/Portsmouth (NVC) via DHL yesterday with destination Casablanca, Morocco. ETA tomorrow, Friday, Dec. 14. Good luck to you!!!  ... By the way, on a separate note, I was in Marrakech, Morocco, two weeks ago -- had a truly wonderful time!!!

Hi Alan&Alex,

 

I received a similar email from the USCIS too.  "Your Case Status" says

Post Decision Activity.  But when I logged on and checked, it was nothing

other than my case was approved.

 

Are you seeing the same?

My case changed today to ready and I schedule my interview for the next available date in March 29.

 

They have one day free in december 21 but ok that's next week and I still need to gather a bunch of documents and it didn't feel right to rush things. My fiance comes in January so we'll survive lol (but I did feel tempted to take it!)

Oh my God March 29th....that's so far from today. That's a good advice for everyone have everything ready so we can have an interview sooner. I'll do that

Agree, long wait, however I believe that depends on the embassy, Colombia, I saw early dates as next monday and after that there are several dates available after the first week in january, Not a long wait at all. 

 

I was looking for a date around the 20th. but nothing available.

Printed e-mail with barcode from nvc, 4 passport pictures (name printed in back), SLEC pre reg if you have it, and a photo copy of your passport.
