Yes. I read that conclusion in our Philippine forum. @Greenbaum suggested to schedule the interview once in transit 3-4 weeks before interview so mine is 5 weeks. I have 5 weeks to wait for that holy ready status 😄 I like his idea to set everything and still give enough time just in case.

NOA2 was received November 4th and still no notice from the NVC. I called last Monday and they said they had just entered our information into the computer...

Yeah we did, I put an Enquiry at NVC, called the Sydney embassy, the dar Es salaam Embassy and sent emails everywhere. Lol.

 

Wasn’t too bad though, they were all very quick to respond and they sent me CC’s for their emails in between the embassy’s.

What does that mean and what is next?

It means your case has a number assigned and it will be in transit to the embassy shortly where upon you can begin your quest for the interview. First step is to follow your case till it is set to "ready" then contact the embassy for instructions. See the first page of this post for further instructions. You have to do some of the heavy lifting now. We can't spoon feed you everything. Take control.

ceac.state.gov use "immigrant" and then case number.
