Our lawyer just sent us the NVC confirmation  letter indicating that they are forwarding the petition to the american embassy.

Last time I checked it must have been around 11.00 am, I left for almost two ours, I was so anxious that decided not to check my phone until back home. Came back checked my mail and there it was the longed for "NVC-do-not-reply"

Case is "In Transit". I scheduled my interview 30 mins ago and it was great. I entered my email address so I can get the pdf version and print it at the computer shop but to my surprise, there's no pdf attachment on the mail but my appointment confirmation is there . @Greenbaum what is wrong? Interview schedule is 5 weeks from now.

No, we got our case number on the 4th (last week), after our application was received on november 19 I just called twice, once a week. You right when I saw Alan & Alex with our same date for case number I was anxious. You guys are almost there.

NVC case number: Dec,11

Update: NVC received our petition! Got the notice via email. The email just says to wait up to 8 weeks for NVC processing instructions.  I guess now we wait for them to email us a case number, or do I need to keep calling them?
