Hello all, I just got my case number today and when I check the CEAC website selecting ‘Immigrant’ the status only says at ‘AT NVC’. Is this normal? The lady was very nice and said my case is in administrative processing and has not yet been sent to embassy, she did say the embassy would contact me with instructions and the NVC would notify me when once my case is sent to the embassy.

One more thing, in the body of information that included ‘AT NVC’ at the bottom of this pop up with my case number it goes onto say there are six steps I must take...I don’t think these steps I need to take because step one is ‘choose an agent and it goes on about a DS261, K1 has the DS160.

As info I have not submitted my DS160 yet, thanks

How do you know? Or where can we find this information?

Because I have been doing this for five years. I read the threads entirely! This has been a procedure that has been in place for the past 4 months. Can it change? YES. Just like it changed from their old process of shipping every day and now every other week.

There is no written policy. There are no guarantees that you will be on the "next" shipment and no one knows who will and won't be. You have to check CEAC.state.gov for current status after receiving your case number.

Larry. This is normal. Ignore what is said in the body of information, which is for CR1 visas. Check again at CEAC tomorrow. You may be on the next shipments.

Can I ask, what have you been doing the last month? Everyone of your questions has been asked and answered during that time period.

First, are you sure you're going to need a co-sponsor? Will your Embassy except one? Have you compared peitioner's income to the poverty levels for your family size?

Don't get bent out of shape with me. I'm going try and help you out. Ok?

I was just waiting my NOA2, and yesterday at 10pm I knew I was approved on November 30th 😪 that sounded kind of mean.... Sorry for asking I just don't know... Anyway.... I'll try to find some information by my own.

I'm trying to help you but if you go on your own information hunt that is your choice. I'll still be here answering questions from others if you change your mind.

I'm just overwhelmed, my fiance doesn't help me at all. I'm the beneficiary. He just graduated. He just started working. No way he can proof that, but his dad wants to help us. That was my question

The form i134 his dad can fill it out with just his information....or my fiance needs to fill another .. I'm stressed and confused.... Some places I read they said k1 visa don't accept co sponsor but they do....if you know about it. I would appreciate your help.

Hey everyone, my fiance got our case number today (NOA2 November 14th) and he asked the lady if our case would be sent off tomorrow. She said that unfortunately not as the number was just generated today and still needs further reviews... but she did tell him that our case will likely be sent off in two weeks, so I guess at least we'll make the next batch.

If your Fiance does not meet the requirements for the i134 then yes you will need another sponsor, His dad will be able to help, he can also be the sole sponsor if he earns enough. He will need a bit of information from you, as there are questions about the beneficiary, Your fiance should be able to fill those out, I would urge him to start helping you out more, this is a major step in your relationship, and both partners need to pull their weight. You just received your NOA 2 a few weeks ago so you definitely have time to get your paperwork in order. As a fellow Peruvian (Now a US Citizen) I wish you luck. :)
