You should have a divorce decree if you are divorced.

If any of the party was divorced before you need to bring all of the divorce decrees to the interview. Yours and his/hers too

Thanks. Yes I have divorce decree, but how about my old marriage certificate? I afraid I can not provide it.. Why they need that?

Where did you read that they need it? Divorce decree should be fine.... Maybe somebody else could shed some light on this....

Only you were divorced or your soon to be husband/wife too?

You will not need the marriage certificate. I never did pay to get a certificate sure didn't want to do that after I was divorce.

Look at your Embassy website. My says bring your marriage certificate if you are divorced and gives instructions what to do if the court withheld it (my case). So it's not for us to decide, the Embassy knows it better.

From Packet 3 checklist:

To prepare for your interview you must acquire and checkmark the list of applicable documents below...

 Intent to Marry Letter signed by the petitioner and dated within 30 days of the interview date.

 Passport, valid for at least 6 months beyond the date you plan to enter the United States.

 Canadian Immigration documents, if applicable.

 Birth certificate.

 Marriage certificate(s).

 Death and/or divorce certificate(s) for petitioner and for beneficiary, if applicable.

 Police certificates from each country in which the applicant has resided for 6 months or longer since the age of 16. Canadian police certificate(s) must be issued within one year of the visa appointment.

.....

And an agent website also said if you got divorced previous marriage cetificate and divorce decree is needed.
